I also don’t spend the $300 for them either. At the $150 i love everything about them. The sound is good, connecting is a breeze and so far my Irish pair is still working but one side died two years later.

The actual cushion are very comfortable and soft, they also are large so they cover your entire ear. Overall, a very good pair of headphones and the charge lasts very long.

No loss of sound or any charging issues almost a year in. They still look new and I can't say she is super gentle with them but she doesn't toss them around.

She loves the noise cancelling capability for the plane and for even sleeping with them on if she happens to be near the elevator in the hotel. They were on sale for 50% off and that made them a steal compared to the Bose and higher end Sony headphones. Heck of a deal.
