They are perfect for working out since they won't fall off my head. I am also an audiophile, and I must say these are not top tier sounding headphones (like XM3, XM4, or qc ultra), but they still sound great! They get loud enough to motivate you during workouts. Bass isn't as hard hitting, but again, good enough. Go with these if you need headphones for working out. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

Crisp highs and not to overloaded on the bass. ANC is good not the best. Sony definitely has ANC on lock so if that is important to you, get the XM4/5. Otherwise this is a solid choice
