It ONLY works via bluetooth/wirelessly. I primarily work in linux distros and there is no official Logitech software which supports the unifying receiver either.

Only gripe is that the matte keys get finger printy fast so have to clean regularly. Just not the right matte finish for a keyboard that gets used a lot. I love other logitech keyboards, but this one is just alright

It's probably going to replace my MX Keys full size keyboard. Adjusting to the new key travel, clickiness, and sound didn't take as long as I thought it would. I'm really happy with it.

You have to give it a hard push to get it down. Kind of annoying overall but not a deal breaker.

Good but not great

For such an expensive keyboard I figured it would have better keys, but they must be made out of a cheap plastic because the finish on them is wearing off after just a few days of use. I keep my hands clean and try not to eat while typing, but the keys are in rough shape already

Expensive for what it is

It is sturdy and I like it, I just don't $160 love it. An Apple one was cheaper.

Fantastic keyboard

The MX Mechanical is a wonderful keyboard, especially if you do heavy type (documents, coding, etc). The keys have a long, smooth travel. By comparison, the MX Keys have a shallower travel at a lighter touch.

Great general keyboard but not suitable for games

As with other MX keyboards, I really like the ability to switch between two computers using the same keyboard. That said I have found the repetition rate is too slow for games in some cases. Logitech support tells me that it is NOT intended for use with games. I have a gaming keyboard as well and simply plug it in when gaming.

Primary use is for work and home. Only gave it 3 stars because I do feel the contact during typing is noisier than what I would prefer and can be distracting.

After 4 months of owning, keys were double/triple punching. The MX is a phenomenal piece of equipment with the best tactile feedback. Highly recommend for anyone needing a mechanical/wireless option.
