Samsung HW-8650/ZA 3.1ch Soundbar with Dolby 5.1

Does not separate background music, and voices very well. But that could be due to the way the program was recorded. Does not have right and left balance control. Which to me is weird! Woofer control increases bass to entire audio output. Not just the Woofer.

Samsung sound bar with sub woofer

I've owed 5.1 systems and was a little skeptical about how this 3.1 would sound but overall it stands up to what i was looking for and for apartment living is the prefect option.

An amazing soundbar with Dolby Atmos for the price

It is impressive how good the surround sound is without having rear speakers. If you are going to buy a soundbar, make sure it has Dolby Atmos. This is the best budget version that has Dolby Atmos. There is better, but it will cost more. For a small to medium room, this will more than get the job done.
