    Ive owned this soundbar for a little over a year, it works pretty goodm i do wish it went louder. Not a huge differnce when volume is at 50 or 100

    It sounds really good easy to hook up. But when buy it online it fails to mention that you have to buy one additional one piece for it to work. At that point I was at a 50/50 point of returning it or buying the additional piece. I went ahead and bought the additional piece and I happy that I did. The sound is awesome much better than the old one this replaced. I just think the description of the product and what else you need to hook it up should be more clear.

    When I conected yhe sound bar to mySamsung tv its very delayed, and sometimes the volume doesn’t work . You would think pairing to another Samsung product it would work better and the sound isn’t that great.

      To synchronize your soundbar audio and TV, press the SOUND CONTROL button to select AUDIO SYNC and then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons. (Not available in “USB” or “BT” mode.)

      Additionally, 2020, 2021, and 2022 Samsung TVs have a feature called Audio Pass-Through. You can utilize this feature on your Samsung TV to correct your audio-sync issue.

      On your TV go to: Settings > Audio > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through.

      We do recommend using a HDMI cable as this offers the best audio and user experience available to you with this soundbar.

    The interaction between this product and our tv was not explained well and we don't feel we are getting the best use out of it. We probably need someone to explain it.

    sucks, literally stop working after less than a day, just high pitched noise and would shut off. Returned ASAP

    I thought I had already sent a review on this. The bar works fine, no problems. The guys who installed it did an excellent jog, including cleaning up the mess the original tech made of the installation in 2017.

    I purchased this as an open box item in excellent condition. It was definitely not in excellent condition, though. "Excellent" is Best Buy's "like new" condition in the original packaging with all parts included. The sound bar and subwoofer were just handed to my boyfriend when he picked it up. No packaging at all. Scratches on them and all parts missing except for the bar, subwoofer, and power cords. It is supposed to come with mounting hardware, a remote, an optical cable, and a few other items I wasn't concerned about (per the Samsung website). This would all be fine if I had ordered it in "fair" condition, but I did not. The store did offer me the difference in price between the Fair and excellent Condition product, so I tried to work with that. But adding a remote and optical cable ended up costing me more than the soundbar costs brand new. So I took it back and looked at other sound bars. I am so glad I did. Even the floor model of this sounded bad. I ended up spending a few hundred extra dollars that I did not plan on spending and I am ultimately much happier. Luckily the return policy is awesome and the store associates were happy to help with the return and also help me find the right sound bar for me. So 0 stars for the product, 0 stars for the experience of purchasing this open box item, but 5 stars for return process and helpfulness of the employees.

    It was just okay, very underpowered for my circumstances and the build quality wasn’t great. Perhaps it was average for the price point for this model… but there was nothing about it I found satisfying even compared to the Samsung tv speakers. Easy to set up and use, just not great sound. Of course, to get over how this sounded I only had to spend twice as much, so there’s that.

      You can optimize your audio performance to your liking by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your soundbar remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing SURROUND SOUND, BASS BOOST, GAME, ADAPTIVE, DTS VIRTUAL:X, STANDARD.

      By pressing the TONE CONTROL button, you can adjust the volume of the treble or bass sound. Press the button to select TREBLE or BASS and then adjust the volume between -6~+6 by using the Up/Down buttons.

      Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.

      Additionally, using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the subwoofer’s volume between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down.

      With the optional SWA-9200S Wireless Rear Speaker Kit connected you can adjust the volume by using the provided Soundbar remote. Press CH LEVEL and select REAR LEVEL, then use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range.

    The volume doesn’t get too loud, each click up, barely moves the decibels. Bass is good, but the highs aren’t loud enough. Good for a bedroom, not a living room.

    Once I got the soundbar set up, the audio fidelity was very good. Better than my old one. However, set up was sub standard. I have Samsung TV. It does not list this soundbar model so I was unable to get it linked with my Universal remote. The Universal remote does turn the unit on and off but doesn't control the volume. I don't understand why Samsung doesn't support it's own systems!

      Hello FrankinSac,

      Thank you for taking a moment to review the Samsung B650 Soundbar.

      If your soundbar is connected to your TV with either an optical cable or HDMI via ARC, you can control the volume and mute the soundbar using your Samsung TV's remote. The soundbar should also turn on and off with the TV.

      1) Use the TV remote to navigate to Settings, select Sound, and then select Sound Output on your Samsung TV.
      2) Select your Samsung soundbar, and then select Close. Now you can use your TV remote to adjust volume and mute the soundbar. The soundbar should also turn on and off with the TV.

      Other manufacturer’s remotes may have to be enabled on your soundbar. First, turn Off the Soundbar. Once powered off, push up and hold the WOOFER button for 5 seconds. Each time you push the WOOFER button up and hold it for 5 seconds, the mode switches in the following order: “OFF-TV REMOTE” (Default mode), “SAMSUNG-TV REMOTE”, “ALL-TV REMOTE”. Please also make sure your speaker settings on the TV are set to External Speaker.
