Does not separate background music, and voices very well. But that could be due to the way the program was recorded. Does not have right and left balance control. Which to me is weird! Woofer control increases bass to entire audio output. Not just the Woofer.

Living room is happy

I've owed 5.1 systems and was a little skeptical about how this 3.1 would sound but overall it stands up to what i was looking for and for apartment living is the prefect option.

Apparently the 3.1 channel makes the audio of people speaking more distinguishable from the music playing compared to a 2.1 channel.

Its really like sitting in a movie house. Did not raise volume to max. Most i raise volume is 35 out of 60. Now my son wants one. I will buy for his birthday. And price i paid was better than anywhere else

After the sales person educated me, I purchased the soundbar that was recommended for the TV that I purchased. It is excellent. Thank you again Best Buy for your help.

Really Enhances Movie Watching and Music.

My Samsung 65" TV has pretty good speakers built in, but this soundbar really enhances movie watching and listening to music; brings everything to life. It's the perfect companion to my TV and I would recommend it to friends and family.
