Surface Laptop Go 2 Remains an Entry-level Go 2

It’s beautiful design; compact size, thin profile, and solid build remain intact. The base model comes standard with 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD (which are not upgradeable). 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD are available on the more expensive models. While these specs are not competitive when compared with those of many other mid-priced laptops the Surface Laptop Go 2 remains perfectly suited for students and every day use. Pros • Available in a beautiful array of metallic colors but would love to have the options of basic black and white • Ultra portable at under 2.5 lbs. and 8 ½ x 11 inches • Super-simple set-up • 12.4 inch touchscreen • Magnetic Surface Connect charger connects on right side of case-not the back • Omnisonic Speakers with Dolby Audio Premium are clear and loud • Keyboard has full-sized keys and a good-sized, highly-responsive track pad • Windows Hello fingerprint reader on the Power button for security Cons • Keyboard not backlit (other than Power Key) • No HDMI port and only 1 USB Type-C (there is 1 USB Type-A) • Web cam is only 720P and offers no facial recognition • Battery life decreased dramatically with extensive streaming/videos. My experience was 7-8 hours with normal usage (email, web browsing, FB/TikTok/YouTube videos) but I can definitely see 10-12 hours of battery life with generic use.
