We bought 2 Shark air purifiers 100. One froze at 0 percent. I tried Shark website but could not get any help, no phone #, no chat possibilities. Would not buy another Shark product.

We are extremely pleased with this purchase. We wanted to try it out before we gave the larger version as a gift. Some air purifiers leave rooms with a hospital-type smell, but not this one. It's a great little unit.

Always displays that my air quality is 96-100% clean when I can cleary see dust in the air. Turn off the lights and use a flash light after you vaccum or sweep, dust everywhere. But this little machine shows 96-100% clean air. its very light and doesnt feel like its quality

This does not work. I’ve had it for a few months and it has read as a clean filter.

I felt like it was working whem i was cooking food but didn’t help my allergies

does the job and super quiet i was surprised would buy again

Honestly it always says 99 or 100 so not sure if it’s doing anything?

We bought 2 for the kids and our room. So far amazing, I like that the sound is super minimal, and the Auto mode is perfect. This is the season to keep them on all day.

I was impressed with the Shark Air Purifier with True Hepa from the get-go. The first thing I liked was how it was packaged. The packaging is designed to be green-friendly, yet extremely rugged. With the way the shipping companies are these days, I was a bit concerned when I first saw the package sitting on my front porch. It had obviously taken a good lick or two, but when I opened it all up, everything was perfect. The second thing I noticed was how lightweight it is, weighing in at less than six pounds. This makes it easy to move around, and can be placed almost anywhere. This is a huge plus in my book. I love the way it looks. It is simple yet modern, with a cool blue display that adds a depth of warmth to my bedroom, which is where I chose to put it. The light is not so bright as to be annoying, but yet bright enough to be used like a night light should you need to get up during the night. But the real plus is how well it works. I am certainly no expert on all the ins and outs of microban or antimicrobial technology, but I can pretty well speak with some great authority when it comes to the difference it has made in my bedroom since I installed it. When I first plugged it in, I was almost certain that the machine was malfunctioning because the display indicated the air in my bedroom was only about 50% clean. Even without understanding the mechanics of the monitor, I knew 50% was bad! However, after a couple of hours, the air purity had improved dramatically, and by morning it was at 100%. And the difference was not just noticeable, but crazy noticeable. I truly did not realize how apparently dusty my bedroom was. I have to confess that up until recently I had been sleeping with my window opened at nights for the "fresh" air. Guess that wasn't such a great idea after all! After three days, I no longer have this nagging case of the sniffles. My sinuses are clear, and I actually seem to be sleeping much better. I do have a much larger air purifier in the living room, and the air in there stays quite clear. But my bedroom is away from the living room, and my dog sleeps with me. So this too was another source of the particles in the air, and was contributing to the sniffles I referenced. Not any more. I'm a bit looking forward to when it is time to change out the filter, because I want to see firsthand just how filled with particles the air filter is. Seriously, for anyone looking for a truly great air purifier designed for smaller spaces, the Shark Air Purifier with True HEPA is the one to get. It is well-designed, well-built, and lightweight, and as well, extremely affordable! A perfect addition to any home. I highly recommend the Shark Air Purifier!

Bought this for a friend and now when im over I can breathe better.

I like that the screen tells you how clean the air. Works well after 2 months use. Might get louder after being on all night. Only concern is that I can’t find filters.

Not good at all, dont spend money on this, i dont know whats with all these good reviews it literally does nothing, keep windows open when you can, get flowers cause they keep the air fresh and you are good

Nice looking unit. Made adorable little beeps. Did absolutely nothing. Total waste of money. I cannot imagine how this unit has so many good reviews.

It doesn’t even detect the smell. I thought it would clean the air with odor too.. but I put it next to kitchen, the screen shows 100% clean even I can smell the odor

I live in dusty Las Vegas, where air purifiers are a necessity. I have one in almost every room, all them made by different manufacturers. This is my first Shark air purifier, but not my first Shark product. I have a Shark robot vacuum and a couple of Shark floor vacuums. I have been impressed since day one when I purchased a Shark Lift Away floor vacuum and saw the difference between it's suction power and a much more expensive name brand. Shark literally wiped the floor with the much more expensive unit and I've been a fan ever since. Getting back to the Shark Air Purifier, it comes with a couple of extra bells and whistles you don't see at this price. It has a HEPA filter, which is supposed to filter out 99.9% of particulates in the air (take that, Vegas dust!), it has a sensor and display that let you know the quality of the air in the room you are in, and it has an eco mode that only runs it when air quality gets low enough to require it. No more running the filter 24/7 or having to turn it on whenever you think it might need it. Just set the Shark to auto and let it measure the air and do its thing. That sounds great in theory, but how about real life use? I can tell you that the Shark reacts extremely well to changes in air quality and ramps up as needed. I set it in my dining area just off the kitchen to start. Kids were cooking a frozen pizza in the oven and managed to drop some cheese and pepperoni on the oven floor. A burned smell commenced, and the Shark immediately ramped up, showed less than 90% air quality on the display, and ran for almost 15 minutes as the air quality ramped up to 100% again. Then it shut off and waited for the next kitchen catastrophe. I decided to move it to my daughter's room (she has a long-haired cat that sheds everywhere). Turned it on, and it immediately sensed that air quality was less than desireable. It ramped up for about 5 minutes and brought the air quality back up to 100. I opened a window to air out the room, and it was a little windy and dusty outside. The Shark somehow knew, ramped up (air quality was down in the 80s at this point) and stayed on the whole time the window was open. Pretty impressive in auto! Operation is quiet, and even on the high speed it is no louder than an oscillating fan on low. The display was super bright and kind of distracting, but fortunately there is a dimmer button that allows you to turn it off. Filter life is stated by Shark to last at least 8 months and as long as a year, which I think is a result of the fan entering eco mode when it is not needed. Vegas air may clog the filter up sooner than that, but we'll see. Overall, I'm super impressed with this little unit and it is my favorite out of all the units I own. Highly recommended!

This air purifier just stopped working after only using it a month. Would not buy again. Disapointing

Loud and sometimes never stops and I’m not sure if it’s really working.

I'm so pleased with this purchase! At first I was skeptical that it worked because it initially reported our air quality to be very good; when we lit a candle in the same room, the air quality report immediately plummeted. It has helped eliminate cooking and pet odors from our home. I love the eco mode! The machine is usually very quiet when the air quality is decent, but it does get quite loud when it's bad (i.e. when we're cooking). It does work quite fast to get the air quality back to an acceptable level. Very easy to set up. Overall I'm very pleased with our first air purifier purchase!
