Works great with our older Sony TV via the S/PID connection. We wanted to keep our older Sony flat panel 1080p TV but needed a better speaker as the built in speakers are too tinny. Much more affordable than the other Sonos soundbars but still has excellent sound quality. Plus, we get a Sonos speaker to stream music, podcasts and other audio only programs.

Great tv soundbar for the price. You can find cheaper, but this has solid sound quality that you'd expect from Sonos, with the ability to add rear speakers and a sub if you choose.

The whole family loves it, even the newborn. Should have picked one up sooner.

Great value. We already had two Sonos Ones and adding the Ray created a better movie surround experience. I am happy this the purchase.

Sounds quality is great especially when paired with the sub mini.

This sounds decent, but no remote and its not bluetooth for the newer tvs.

The soundbar itself is everything I hoped for. It sounds great and fits perfectly under my TV. The only reason I left one star off is due to the price of modularity. I think it is great that you can add as many satellites as you like, but I was a little sad to see the matching subwoofer was three times the price of the bar.

Sound is good , but volume does not auto decrease when a commercial comes on like the Roku does.

excellent product when it works. the Sonos app goes down at any time and if I can't get it to work, I have to spend 40 minutes with tech service to get i back. sometimes it goes off 2-3 times a week. it can be working great at night, then it is off in the morning for no apparent reason.

Compact soundbar and perfect fit for a bedroom or small office. Love the sonos systen so this was a great addition.

Fantastic sound. Perfect for my small-sih living room. Bummer that it's limited with the way it connects (optical vs HDMI, wifi only, no bluetooth) -- barring those, I'm chuffed to start on my Sonos ownership journey with an economical first soundbar. 4.5/5.

The quality of the Ray Soundbar is wonderful, however, it does not come with a remote, and only communicates with IR remotes. The new tv I purchased the soundbar for doesn't have an IR remote, so I have to use an app on my phone to control it. It also only has an optical connection, not a HDMI, which doesn't support Dolby Atmos, which is also on my new tv. I should have done my research, but took the suggestion of my salesperson. I will be using it on another tv in my house as I missed the return window. Great product, just not able to use it the way I planned.

I bought this for my home office and it easily fills the room with great sound. Simple setup, easily pairs with iPhone and wifi.

Not impressed with the sound at this price point. I believe I paid $299 at the time. Comes with no remote, no Bluetooth support and you have to use the Sonos app that isn't the best to work these. I wanted to build a nice Sonos system but it looks like Sonos will probably be going away soon.

The price got my attention. Comparable sound to the successful One and in a sound bar. No mic - so no frills - No Google, Alexia. Just clean crisp sound with good bass. Happy Happy Happy. Planning one more for the Guest Bedroom.

Beautiful and elegatnt design. Super minimalist. Love this speaker in white. It has a full and warm sound out of the box but can also be tweaked to however you choose. It can serve as a standalone speaker in your setup or as a center channel with a sub and surrounds.

So far so good. Sound quality is good and bunch of different modes.

The Ray offers great sound quality and clarity for smaller spaces and it’s a great entryway into the Sonos ecosystem. We currently have this, 2 Sonos One SL’s, Sub Mini and a Roam, and all work seamlessly with very little lag, and offers a great surround sound system that gives us room to expand.

Great sound. Great price. Easy setup. Mixes well with other Sonos speakers.
