I'm very happy with this soundbar. The starting price for Sonos items can be a little high, but quality is excellent. I've since paired this soundbar with two One SL speakers to have surround sound, and I'm very happy with how it has turned out.

This is a nice addition to my home sonos system. I have 2 sets of these - one for the living room and one for our lanai (outdoor patio). Awesome product!

I can't get the lips to totally up with the sound. The sound bar is more for music.

We could not get this to pair up with our new TCL TV control device. The sound bar would work but you needed to install on your phone or our Dish Control. We exchanged for another brand.

Jury is still out on this sound bar. We've noticed since the sound bar has been hooked up to the TV's, there seems to be a delay in the voice syncing to the mouths of the people on the screen. We bought 2 sound bars, 1 for a Samsung TV, and 1 for a Sony Bravia and are experiencing the problem with both TVs. Don't know if we are keeping them.

Exactly what I wanted and needed. It replaced my Yamaha 201 sound bar which was very good, however difficult to get connected to Wi-Fi. Also nice to use my TV remote

Bought this for a Christmas gift. Personally I would put in 2 home pods to get Siri, AirPlay and Dolby Atmos for a $600 price point. This is good to add AirPlay 2 functionality to a room but it’s not that much better than tv speakers for watching standard TV shows.

Bought open box EXCELLENT and it didnt work so I returned and had to pay the difference for a new one. Got it home and set it up. You can airplay music, so if your wifi goes out, so does your music. Why it doesn’t have a bluetooth option, I don’t know. It’s not very loud and nothing was special about the sound. I returned and will be going with a different brand.

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we truly apologize for the frustration you encountered with your Sonos Ray. We understand how disappointing it can be when a product doesn't meet expectations, especially after dealing with setup issues and connectivity concerns.

We hear your concern regarding the lack of Bluetooth support, and we agree that it would provide additional flexibility for users in case of Wi-Fi interruptions. While Sonos Ray primarily relies on Wi-Fi and AirPlay for streaming, we understand that this may not be ideal for every situation.

Regarding the sound performance, we aim to offer a balanced, clear audio experience with our products, but we recognize that it may not meet everyone's personal preferences. If you are looking for something with deeper sound or louder volume, perhaps one of our other soundbars, such as the Sonos Beam or Arc, may better suit your needs.

We sincerely regret that the Ray didn’t work out for you, and we completely understand your decision to explore other options. If you ever decide to give Sonos another try, please know we are here to assist and ensure you have the best possible experience with our products. john.milton

Seems at times not to allow full range of sound up or down. Expected more sound from our first soundbar. Buttons on top don't work for a while - maybe impacted by how was set up by Geek squad? Now working ok.

    Great Price For Great Sound

Sonos has been on the high side when it comes to price, but with that comes great sound and quality. With this Ray soundbar, you are getting great sound and quality for a reasonable price. It is a mid-sized soundbar that is 22” long, 4” wide and 3” high, that has an Ethernet port, digital optical port and power supply port. This comes with the power cord and digital optical cord. If you are looking for an HDMI hook up, this is not the soundbar for you. The only way to hook this up for sound is with the optical cord. It states this is best for a television that is 55” or less. You will need to install the Sonos S2 app onto your iPhone to set up the soundbar. The Sonos S2 app has a nice feature for your iPhone in that once the soundbar is plugged in the app senses it, will register it and walk you through the setup process. When using this with your iPhone, you can use TruePlay which will automatically adjust the balance of the sound to the room you are in. This is a great feature and makes it much easier than trying to adjust the treble and bass yourself. There is no separate subwoofer with this sound bar, but considering this is geared to a smaller home or apartment environment, you really don’t need it. This will push out enough bass to meet your needs without driving the neighbors crazy. I love all my Sonos devices and this one is set at a very reasonable price and does not disappoint.

I've had this for a couple years now. Would not recommend. Overall the sound quality is great, but I've tried to resolve the sound cutting out every 30 minutes or so for abou5 4-5 seconds. I've tried to resolve with Sonos customer service numerous times, but it has not been resolved. We've tried to changed settings on my Sony TV, and it hasn't changed. I tried to give them a chance to try and give me a replacement unit, but no dice. I would give it two stars if I had any support from Sonos, but alas, they don't care.
