Personally I got tired of taking it on and off. The unit also comes WITHOUT the watch charger, which I somehow missed on initial purchase.

The magnet doesn’t work for the phone but it charges with me holding it. I’m not sure if the charger part works for the earbuds. The light never came on. (Beats earbuds)

The unit plugs into the wall and this charges the phone port and the earbuds port, but you have to use your charging cord that came with your apple watch to charge your watch. The cord is hidden in a little compartment underneath and plugs into the base, then the round part of YOUR charger fits into the circle on the base...thus...charging our watch.
