When we put our first batch in to cream, as soo as the blade hit the frozen mass, it mad an awful sound. Like gears grinding. Next thing you know, the blade flew off. We turned it off and took out the pint, sure enough the blade had been stripped where it was being held in. There were metal shaving in the frozen icecream and it barely scratched the surface of the frozen icecream. I returned for a refund and am Leary to even purchase again.
