It truly is plug-and-play! I purchased this for my father-in-law and I'll admit I was a bit concerned that he wouldn't understand the interface. BUT he very quickly caught on and now has access to all his streaming services. Quick and easy!

Easy to navigate

It is very simple to install and easier to navigate and add other apps other than the common pre-installed in the Roku system. I am using to watch Fanatiz, Globoplay and Apple Tv on my Samsung TV.

Item work remote almost useless

Great for older TVs

Brought new life to out 1080p 55" Samsung TV now I can use all my streaming subscriptions on that TV with this especially my Funimation and Crunchroll :)

It does the job, but not without some minor flaws.

If you don't need 4K, this is probably the best route to go. I have multiple Express models in my home as well as a Roku Stick. The stick is noticeably faster, but it's not anything crazy. This model requires line of site, while the Express doesn't. That may be something to think about. Every once in a while (maybe 6 months or so), I have to unplug the Express and plug it back in to fix a random freeze. Is that enough to pay double the price for a different model? You be the judge.
