Perfect for HD TVs

I wanted to be able to do streaming and start cutting the cable cord. However, nothing is wrong with my TV. It is just not a smart tv. I researched and determined that the Roku platform was best for me and the express device was the preferred model. I am not super tech savvy; however, the installation was simple. I would highly recommend this device.

Great for older TVs

Brought new life to out 1080p 55" Samsung TV now I can use all my streaming subscriptions on that TV with this especially my Funimation and Crunchroll :)

Great way to lose a cable box!

Wish there was integrated volume control on the Roku so I don’t have to juggle two remotes, and it would be great if the Roku remote was backlit. But I can live with these two little inconveniences now that I’ve returned our tv’s cable box to Xfinity and knowing how much I’m going to save each year by getting the Roku and ditching the cable box!

Great product for first time streamer.

Tough to teach her new tricks and the Amazon fire stick made it impossible because of all the activity on the screen. The ROKU box however allows you to turn all the noise off and only the apps you want are visible on the screen. Phone calls for help from Mom went from daily to none. For folks that have difficulty moving from cable to streaming, Roku is the way to go.

Best HD Streamer

If you just want a simple streaming interface to connect to your non-smart TV or an older smart tv that is no longer supporting all of the newer apps this is the best option. Easy to use interface and does not require any new phone apps. The initial sign-in process is a little bit of pain.

Quick Access Now

It made access so much faster even on the new lg smart tv. I did have an antenna on the new smart tv but this boosted the time to access all my favorite tv apps and networks.
