I ended up getting an upgraded remote because this if for my 90 year old mother in law and the remote that came with it does not have a power button . I was also surprised that this did not come with an adapter. I had to use one of my phone charger adapters to plug it in .

I reently purchased this one for a toshiba fire tv because I din not want to use the Fire system, so set up the TV as a "basic" setup, and use this for smart functions. Roku is breat interface, and Best Buy Price was good on sale

Roku Express HD Streaming Media Device

However, after going through the setup procedure on both I decided to return the Roku. I think it would probably be fine for just about anyone to use so I think it just boils down to personal preference.

Roku Streaming

The Best Buy tech was amazing! He was polite, patient, and answered all our questions. He had use the device several times before he left. We haven’t had any problems.
