    I have tried slow cooking with rhis multiple times. The low function is way too cool. I had 4 pound pork shoulder in it on low for over 9 hours and it was not fall part at all. I tried another 4 pounds on high and the thing was overcooked but still not fall apart or tender. I tried some simple chicken breast on high and they finished just as fast or faster than in the oven at 400F! The only feature i like is the size and being able to proof bread

    This works great to replace a crockpot. Well worth the extra money. Heats up so much quicker than regular slow cookers.
