I have tried for three weeks to use this purifier/heater to help supplement heat a 250 sq ft room. I set it to the highest setting, 86 degrees, in a room that also has a working heat pump that I've set to 63 degrees. The heat never reaches above 65 no matter how long it has been running.

It caught fire the very same day i bought it and plugged it in. I would like to imagine it was just a rare defective unit but a space heater catching fire as much as i love my animals and life I have literally crossed this brand off my brands to teust their products. Scary.

Love the features but not sure the purifier part is legit.

I want to love this product. I got it because I figured it should be a good brand, it’s a Shark. I was wrong. It catches VOC levels good and cleans the air at a fast rate, fan works well, air smells clean, but does not work with dust. My room has been even more dusty since I got this purifier. I got it mostly for the dust. Sometimes when I’m close to it I’m Ching on the dust particles that I’m swallowing. This is even with allergen covers on my bed!

Its not from heat, as its in fan mode, no heat. My Dyson has never had this smell. I have it out in the garage running to see if the smell goes away. Its a chemical plastic like small. Its horrible.

Works well so far. I have only had it for a short time.

I like that it keeps my room warm while keeping thw air quality perfect. I used to cough all the time in my room until i bought this.

It looks nice and doesn’t take up that much space, and it leaves a clean smell. It also serves as a light fan and good space heater. It’s powerful enough to clean an average sized living room. The front display has a clean aesthetic, displaying air quality information and the temperature. It can cycle through different particle types, filter life, and how long it will take to clean the area. The ring will also change color based on air quality. All the buttons, except the power button, are on the detachable remote. It’s held on by a strong magnet, but if it’s lost, then you lose all control over the purifier. You can still switch between purifier and fan with the knob, but nothing else. As a purifier, it’s quiet and puts out a nice clean smell. The Clean Sense IQ will auto detect air quality and adjust the fan strength accordingly. In this mode, the air is pushed out the back. When in Fan/Heat mode, the air flows from the front. The fan airflow is somewhat weak at low to medium setting but is relatively quiet. At higher settings, it can get loud, so the airflow to noise volume may not be worth it. The auto air quality detector will still crank up the power if the air quality drops. The heating is fast to warm up and is temperature controlled. Great for heating up a room quickly. The HEPA filter should last months and a replacement will cost $60, which isn’t too expensive.

Not what I expected. The purifier works okay, not the greatest. I thought since it’s by Shark & the price tag, it would be really good. The heating & air works okay. Overall nothing special—just an average 3-in-1 system.

Having a unit that will do everything and not having to buy multiple units to do different functions, is really worth the buy.

And there’s an oscillating option which makes the operating part of the unit rotate to cover the widest possible area with the fan’s breeze. The included filter can last from six months to a year, depending on how much you use the unit. The product is covered by warranty for two years for both parts and labor, so the manufacturer certainly has confidence in this unit. So can you. This product is a winner! Highly recommended.

Wish there was a way to turn the device chime off. Chime is loud when adjusting settings at night

Not good and remote is not working without remote it’s useless

I'm in love with this air purifier so far! I've been using it for a week now and I can already tell a difference in the air quality inside my house. I have several friends with pet allergies that visit regularly and my hope upon purchasing this purifier was to help minimize the dander my 3 cats create for not only my guests, but for my husband and self as well. I love how customizable and user friendly it is. The fact that I have the option to switch between cool, heat and normal and it still purifies the air is very appealing to me, especially during this time of the year when it's cold in the mornings, but warm during the day. I've left it on auto so it's pretty hands off, but it does come with a handy remote to control everything from. The purifier clearly indicated on the front what the current room temperature is, what the air quality is and the life of the filter. It's really quiet too. I've placed this in our living room and you pretty much don't know it's there unless you're looking right at it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get one of these for every floor of my house! Highly recommend.

Doesn't seem to purify the air as well as our other purifiers, cant tell much of a difference in air quality. Was hoping for the price it would do better.

Knob to switch the purifier and heater got stuck and I cannot switch without remote

Very bad product. Thats probably why its discounted big. Got the product in february. In a month it stopped working. But bestbuy doesnt take anything back after 15 days Had to deal with shark directly for the warranty. Very time consuming and cumbersome process and they are charging me tp ship a replacement fpr their brand new product that broke in less than a month

I find it too weak compared to the ad. Disappointed.
