Could earbuds but dropped a ball on software

The only way I can get it to recognize that I had earbuds was to connect it to an older tablet and have the software detected there and then my phone suddenly acknowledgedthem

Posted .Our JBL Tune Flex TWS comes with 3 sizes of sealing eartips. To achieve the best seal and secure fit, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal. What really bugs me is that my audio preferences get nulled if I use 1 ear bud and have to use standard settings. Picks up and amplifies high pitched sounds. Sounds nice at first but does not last
