Customers are saying
Customers often highlight the Victus 15.6" laptop's strong performance and good graphics capabilities for its price point. Many appreciate the option to upgrade the RAM, but some users mention that the battery life could be improved and that the screen brightness may not be sufficient in all situations. Additional feedback points to the build quality as decent and the weight as manageable. While some find the fan noise noticeable, others report that the laptop does not overheat excessively.

Great bang for the buck
|Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price this laptop usually runs it's a great deal, the back lit keyboard looks and feels great, the high refresh rate screen looks good, the performance is good and consistent, and the battery life when not under heavy load is solid too, I get roughly 8 hours of YouTube on it. There's nothing overwhelmingly bad about it. The fans when running at full throttle are a bit annoying, the back lit keyboard only has 1 brightness, and the hinge feels a little wobbly. But those are minor gripes, and for the price you're getting an overall great package.

I love it!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.10/10 I love it. Works great and at a great price! It’s my very first gaming “PC”. Runs all the games I want very well! If you’re looking for a budget gaming laptop that runs good, get this one!! The only thing that would be a negative is the battery life. I only play on it when it’s plugged up so I don’t have this issue, but if you plan on taking it places and using it without a charger a lot, it won’t last that long.

I love it
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly I think it’s a pretty good laptop. I’m not a gamer by any means other than playing the sims games, so I mostly just bought this particular laptop on Black Friday because of the following reasons. One, it has a backlit keyboard Two, it’s blue and I liked that. Three, it does have a dedicated graphics card in case I do ever decide to play any games in the future I will be able to run them. The keyboard also feels great to type on.

Gaming Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop specifically for Sims 4 to game with. I have a lot of mods, custom content, and packs before I installed it all the laptop moved extremely fast. It takes a little long now because it’s a lot on the computer to load it all into the graphics, but it’s still not bad. Battery lasts a few hours until I have to plug it in.

Great Gaming Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my laptop! I had to do plenty of research before I settled on this over an Acer nitro. I would say I made the right choice and it was on sale when I bought it. I can play my video games smoothly. The only downside is the 8GB memory, but other than that It’sa great gaming laptop for the price!! Like all gaming laptops, the battery life is whack but it is to be expected.

A Solid Mid-Range Performer: HP Victus 15.6" Gamin
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Title: HP Victus 15.6" Gaming Laptop - Punches Above Its Price! Just snagged the HP Victus in Performance Blue, and it's a beast for the bucks! Here's the lowdown: **Look and Feel:** Love the sleek design, and it feels like it can take a hit. Performance Blue is a head-turner, and the build quality is solid for both gaming marathons and regular stuff. **Screen Time:** The 144Hz on the 15.6" Full HD screen is a game-changer (literally). Smooth visuals and colors pop, making gaming wicked fun. **Under the Hood:** The Intel Core i5-13420H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 combo is a powerhouse for the price. Handles games like a champ. 8GB RAM might feel a bit tight for multitasking, but it's good enough for most gaming sessions. **Storage Situation:** 512GB SSD means no waiting around. Games load fast, and the system stays snappy. **Stay Cool, Buddy:** Cooling is on point. Fans are quiet, and it doesn't turn into a hotplate during gaming binges. **Typing Vibes:** RGB backlit keyboard is a nice touch. Keys feel great, and the trackpad gets the job done. But let's be real, gamers roll with a mouse. **Connect the Dots:** Got all the ports you need—USB Type-A and Type-C, HDMI, and Ethernet. Easy peasy for hooking up your gear. **Battery Blues:** Battery life ain't the star, but it's cool for everyday stuff. Around 5-6 hours for Netflix and chill. **Verdict:** HP Victus is the budget-friendly gamer's dream. Looks good, plays hard, and doesn't wreck your wallet. If you're on a budget, this bad boy is worth a look!

Great Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Victus is not a gaming beast in any sense nor the underlying specs should make you believe it delivers performance on par with an Alienware or a custom built gaming rig. This is by far the most budget buy, as it delivers what it promises. Having used it for 2 months, the laptop had hardly thrown me any performance bottlenecks. I would recommend this if you are an amateur gamer, and an extensive functional user, barring the plastic aesthetics, this laptop is worth every cent.

Great budget laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has to be one of the best value gaming laptops out there for the value. It has Intels H type CPU which is more powerful than the regular CPU's of the same generation. The laptop is incredibly fast for the price. Unfortunately the build is plastic and it's a chunky by nature. Overall, once you remove bloatware and upgrade the RAM this is a great option

Man, this feels so good to use
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Now, I will admit, I had planned on building a PC for myself. But I decided to get a gaming laptop to test out the capabilities of each part, plus also understand the need and fundamentals in building. However, this laptop is really amazing. It looks and feels so professionally fluid and was worth its price. Plus a sale that had cut the price down by a third meant that it was the one to get. The need for upgrades honestly is not entirely necessary. The only upgrade you might need is the RAM, since it is 8 GB and most games are able to push that. It is also very bulky and is the heaviest laptop I have had at any point of my life. All in all, a four star gaming laptop, though saving $300 did make me add the fifth star. It’s good for beginners getting into PC Gaming, but are not sure about building one yet. It does not need many upgrades in the long run unless you want to push this to the very best it can be.

Great budget gamer!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. Runs great for the games I play. Display is awesome (for what I am used to lol). I am not really into any of the newer heavy draw games, but I do play some MMOs, FPS, and RPG than can be a bit taxing on systems if too much is going on. No issues at all. I do recommend upgrading to 16GB Ram or higher, but that is not expensive for this model and not totally necessary. More of a QoL upgrade.
