I dont really like to use any thing except pods but it is nice to have the option to use loose coffee. The frothier is nice to have for my great grand daughter to make her steamers. I love that the water holder is bigger than my last coffee maker. I also love that there are 4 settings for coffee amount. I dont do cold coffee but some of the people in my household do during the summer so hopefully they will like it. The only thing I not real thrilled with is the length. It fits on my counter but wish it was a tad shorter but that is my bad for not looking at the measurements. Overall this is a great coffee maker

However, I have a few complaints that make using it inconvenient. First, when using the basket as opposed to a pod the coffee stays very wet and it drips quite a bit on the way to the waste basket. I have found that using mini filters is a necessity for less mess and easier clean up. Second, the brewing time is quite a bit longer than the Keurigs I have used in the past. The machine will start brewing, pause, and then finish brewing. It takes a good 5 minutes to brew one 10-12oz cup of coffee and the machine continues to drip even after the brewing cycle finishes and the machine beeps to let you know that it is ready. Last, the overall finish looks ok but it is made of thin plastic which makes it seem cheap.

Better then Keurig

I use this way more than my nespresso now but im happy to have the option to use one

But this can make hot coffee, over ice ready coffee, hot water for tea, and has several other types of options. Very nice and efficient appliance for this coffee lover!
