The oven selector main (center) knob broke off with a relatively light tap of a pan after 1.5 years. Unbelievably small plastic stem connecting the knob from the control assembly that likely got weaker as the result of heat and broke off very easily. Replacement part is $155 on Samsung site, not available for a month, and requires a fair bit of panel removal and installation.

The burners are absolutely terribly designed and made of cheap materials that are difficult to clean. There is a seam between the cooktop and the panel where the burner controlls are located. This seam is almost impossible to clean and catches any spill or boilover. The oven vents on the back of the cooktop are also very difficult to clean. The burner knobs catch spills and are impossible to clean. Overall a very poorly designed range. I dont see this thing lasting more than a few years.

However, I so appreciate all the bills and whistles on the range. The integrated temperature probe allows me to have perfectly cooked meats every time. Such a great purchase!
