Got an open box one for a ridiculous price that couldn't pass. Very satisfied with the purchase. The only down side to this is the non-upgradable RAM. But for the price I paid doesn't really matter.

I’ve had this laptop for about a week now. I do love it besides how hot it gets ON a cooling pad. It only gets hot while running games. I haven’t noticed it any other time. It does cool down pretty quickly.

So far I have been very impressed with this machine. I think the most underrated feature is that the 780M iGPU is competes with the steam deck in terms of performance per watt when on battery so you can really do some gaming on the go! I was not expecting that

I bought this laptop for school about a year ago now. It was a good deal and had great reviews for build quality, speakers, screen, etc. But now seeing what’s available today it would’ve been smart to wait. 2024 was a year of experimenting with premium gaming laptops with efficient chips and unfortunately this laptop struggled with some of those hiccups.

Screen is excellent, keyboard feels great, backlight is bright, trackpad is large and responsive, IO is great, chasis is thin and light, slash on back is pretty cool, battery life is good, performance is good, and overall it feels very high quality. The two Issues I have with this laptop are as follows: Heat- It gets pretty hot. Nothing uncomfortable and not in the places where your hands are going, but don't touch above the keyboard by the power button for too long after heavy workloads or you might burn yourself. IDK if that's an issue with laptops in general, but this one had that issue so it is something to note. Secondly, Compatibility- I have a strange issue where the laptop gets stuck in booting up until I unplug my ethernet adapter. Again this could be an issue with the adapter itself, but my previous laptop did not have this issue so I am going to pin it on the laptop. Other than those two small issues this laptop works great. There was an issue with the keyboard backlight but it was fixed in a software update. 9.5/10, certainly the best laptop I've ever tried. Worth it.

Great for gaming but it overheats a bit Great processor

Great laptop. Had it for a little over 2 weeks and I’m really enjoying it. The screen is amazing for watching movies and videos. Laptop specs are great for my use and production. Definitely recommend to others looking for a good laptop that’s portable and can be used for gaming and other stuff. The laptop pretty much does it all for me.

pros - smaller, lighter and superb build quality definitely good competitor for the macbook pro. cons- Fan noise and heat issue when running GPU, no heating issue for normal usage.

Bought this as a gift for a family member. They absolutely love this for all their PC gaming needs!

This is my second Asus-ROG. The last purchase was in 2019, and it is still working. I wanted the lighter smaller version of this lap top. I use it for design software. Good computer, fast, great graphics, works great with my design program. I would highly recommend.

The laptop arrived very quickly, and it is everything it is advertises to be!

When it comes to playing games it does a great job, I really enjoy use the laptop and taking some classes in python, so overall the laptop works for me and I would recommend it to anyone else.

Great laptop for on the go gaming is you already have a powerful desk top at home. The sale this was too good to pass up so we purchased two of them. Build quality is great. The unboxing was pretty satisfying.

This is an excellent laptop perfect for a full time college student that likes to game in their spare time. Its stats exceed many comparable laptops that cost a great deal more. Also, the deal we got from Best Buy was the cheapest seen in a long while. The deal didn't last very long, so stalking it was required.

Used for both school and gaming. Wonderful laptop and the size is perfect. Doesn’t look too much like a gaming laptop either which was perfect for me. I didn’t want RGB everywhere. With it being a gaming laptop, the battery life is very short and the reason I’m giving it 4 stars. Great purchase!

Fantastic product!! I was pretty unsure how it would perform because it is a laptop, but wow! This thing really cranks. I use it as a workstation for ML/AI/DL and it packs a punch for the size and components. Super happy with it. If its on sale, PICK IT UP.

I bought this and waited awhile due to the shortage of them that they had but it was all worth it this laptop has everything you need and some! I really recommend this computer whether its for school or gaming it is capable of both!
