Easy to use and clean. Only drawback is lack of one button start and doesn’t turn off automatically when you open the drawer

It is noisy. Perhaps it was my unit but not the first experience with air fryer. The hype seems too “loud”. A half price unit I took for it does the same and I still can hear music in my kitchen. Just do not put away the box until you think is what you want.

Not too clear on how to cook French fries, but I managed to succeed.

Great air fryer heats up your food evenly without burning the e food. This air fryer has multiple heating functions with good even space for cooking in large portions.

I have no idea what took me so long to get one. It's beyond amazing and it completely replaced our stove. They're fast and extremely efficient.

While not as quiet as my previous Gourmia air fryer, the Ninja AFPXL makes up for that with the Max Crisp button. Definitely getting the crispiest frozen foods we've ever air fried! I'm also a big fan of the crisper tray, which can also serve as a broiler when you turn it 45º. The fact that this has tactile real buttons is also a plus.

Ordered it online as NEW and I received a refurbished product. Out of box it had minor scuffs and wear to it. Unfortunately Best Buy is notorious for this it’s always hit or miss. Check your products carefully.

Good but next time I would buy a bigger one with two boxes

This has been a big upgrade over my previous air fryer. It is very easy to use and has a lot of functionality. There is a bit of a learning curve for getting things to cook evenly, I think the key is to shake the tray halfway through the cook time. The included quick start guide is very useful for figuring out cooking times for various items as well.

I absolutely love my new Ninja airfryer. Fingers crossed no recalls on this manufacturer like the Insignia brand.

Ninja has done it again! This is my 3rd Ninja air fryer and I have always loved them for their simplicity, ease of use, and great end results when cooking food. I was due for a new one, so I decided to give the Pro XL a try. Right out of the box it looks and feels like all of the other predecessors in the Ninja Air fryer line. It’s a solid product made with quality parts. I especially love this one cause it seems like they have found a way to make the footprint even smaller while not reducing the size of the basket. I seem to remember my older model having wider sides. This one is very sleek and definitely wont take up much of your precious counter space. Operation is fairly self-explanatory, although a manual is included. You start by selecting what type of cooking you want to do. Max crisp, air fry, roast, bake, reheat, and dehydrate. I have to admit I have had most of these same settings on my other Ninja air fryers and there are some that I have never used. I think most people will use the max crisp setting which works great for things like fries, chicken nuggets, onion rings and things like that where you really want a crispy crunch. Then there is air fry, which is probably what the majority of your cooking will be under. This is for things like steaks, chicken breasts, pizzas and things like that. The other ones I cant say I have used a lot. But I did try a couple of them out. After selecting the type of cooking you select you temp and time and then hit the start button and you are ready to go. One thing I love about this air fryer is the ability to go up to 450 degrees. Pretty much every air fryer I have used had a max temperature of 400 degrees. One small thing I wish this one had was the clear front with a light inside so you could see your food while it is cooking. But its not a major dealbreaker. Now onto the performance. I wanted to try some fries using the max crisp setting, because I have not had that setting on my previous air fryers. I did a comparison to fried on that setting and fries on the regular air fry setting and I have to say, there is definitely more of a crunch, its not just a gimmick! Im assuming this works because of the higher max temperature. I did a large chicken breast in it as well and it turned out perfectly. Very moist and juicy inside and golden brown on the outside. This is typical from what I have seen for many years with the Ninja air fryers. I wanted to try baking something in this as well since I have never tried to do that and I was curious how it would work. Since im not much of a baker usually, I grabbed a box of muffin mix and got to it. I have to say I didn’t think it was going to work very well, but I was very pleasantly surprised that they turned out very well. The tops were nice and golden brown and the inside was light and fluffy. I cant say id use that setting a lot, but its nice to know its there and it works if I ever need it. Cleaning on these is always a breeze. The inside non-stick tray easily pops out and is dishwasher safe. The inside is also non-stick and very easy to wipe clean with just soap and water. I have found that even with cleaning I usually end up getting a new air fryer every 2-3 years just because they tend to get a little gross after that. Your results may vary if you do a better job cleaning than I do. Overall, I highly recommend this for a family of 2-3 people. I think it’s the perfect size for that. It works great and its easy to clean. You cant ask for more than that!

I love it so far. The only complaint I have is it doesn’t automatically turn off when you pull out the drawer. It keeps running. I believe it does shut off after five mins automatically but ones I have in the pat immediately pause while the drawer is removed. Seems like a slight safety issue to me.

So far it is what I expected !!!! I will recommend this product
