Amazing for its price good entry level laptop highly recommend upgrading the storage to a gen 3 m.2 SSD for faster boot speeds and more storage and take out the 8GB of Ram and add two 32 slots of ram and this baby runs so smoothly I lovee that its upgradable

Great laptop. The only thing you need to do is to buy and install extra RAM. I know times are tough nowadays but it is still decent with the 8 GB of RAM. I did it myself using a kit from Amazon and it was a breeze.

This laptop is super nice it plays most games really well. My only issues with it is the lack of ram but that is upgradable

Great laptop wife is using it to edited photos for her business. I upgraded her ram an ssd and she is enjoying the speed. With the 4k display upgraded her life on editing her clients photos. She is thrilled and an doesnt slow down one bit now.

it does handle all tasks very well it is pretty nice keyboard and design, when your asking a lot of performance from it the fans spin up.

Fans run every 5 minutes and are very noisy- be warned that there is no fix for this. You can disable always-on fan in the BIOS, you can set it to "Quiet" in the OMEN gaming hub, you can even strip the dust mesh out, but nothing will eliminate the fans whistling every 5 minutes even when all you do is browse the web. Do not purchase if you intend to use in a space without overwhelming background noise. Battery life is poor even when just doing web browsing and spreadsheets and there is no setting to cap charging at 80% for preserving battery life, only a nebulous "Adaptive Battery" setting in the BIOS. Beyond that, it makes a decent gaming laptop performance-wise but is a poor choice for using as a replacement for an everyday work/play machine

great for thise on a budget play most your games at 720/1080p mid to high settings. highly recommend

The laptop is pretty good all around. It runs well, stays cool, though the fans are a little loud but what can you expect from a laptop. My biggest gripe is the whole thing is plastic, and placing your hand and applying slight pressure either next to the track pad or below it will click it. If it wasn’t for that I’d give 5 stars.

Loving this laptop so far! Super smooth 144Hz display, games run great with the RTX 3050, and it boots up fast. Perfect for gaming and everyday use, definitely worth the price!

Me, my girlfriend, and my friend all bought this computer on a whim cus it was cheap and had pretty good specs. And indeed it is pretty good! Can’t do anything too intensive on this but fun little games with friends run perfectly and it’s great for work :)

For the money it's good. I feel like more memory and HD space could move the needle. I added 32Gigs of RAM for $50 and that improved performance significantly. Without that, it might struggle in some areas. Not a gaming workhorse but not priced like one either.

The hp victus is the best bang for buck budget gaming laptop there is out in the market right now. It offered good balance of performance and affordability.

Runs really great, but it can run a little hot and the fans can be noisy.
