It is normal to hear the microwave running, however if you feel that what you are hearing is too loud and the microwave isn't working properly, please take advantage of your warranty that is on page 15 in your manual. This manual can be found on Best Buys site at the bottom of the Features tab.

Not only does it fit perfectly in our space, it works with great ease. GE is a terrific comapny and this microwave defintiely surpasses all expectations. Additionally, the BB specialist did a fantastic job helping me find the right product for my needs. he best experience all around!!!!

The Best Buy crew helped us with the purchase process when we placed an order for the microwave oven and a few days later when we picked up the item from a Best Buy store in Richfield, MN. GREAT product. VERY helpful staff.
