The best most comfortable headphones I've owned. This is now my fourth pair of noise cancelling headphones. The original Bose Quiet Comfort headphones quit working when the slider switch failed. The Beats headphones came apart at the overhead strap connection to the ear section. Great for air travel.

Very comfy and good for long flight. I wish noises canceling what better for assisting with drowning out air plane engine sounds. Other wise great over ear sound. The carrying case is a little off but figured out a way to get it to sit in it flat .

The Bose QuietComfort headphone truly live up to their name. The noise-cancelling performance is outstanding—arguably the best you can get. Whether I’m on a plane, in a busy hospital environment, or studying in a noisy café, they dramatically reduce background noise and create an immersive listening experience.

Best headphones by far. Love them. Easy to use. Just pair with your smart tv and you are good to go. No charging box to hook up, everything needed is built into the headphones. Uses a C cord for charging. Very comfortable to wear. Well worth the price.

Ive lwys biught the cheap $59 and under headphones. Even with NC you could hear things around you. This was my first pair of high end Bose headphones. The settngs for where the sound was xoming from was interesting, the NC blocked out everything. I couldn’t even hear myslef breathing or typing. That was the first 30 minuets wearung them. I bought them to wear at night while sleeping. I bought a pillow that has a hole in the middle to accommodate them sicne i sleep on my side. At first i tried just the NC and a brown noise, but my tinnitus kept getting louder. So I put a thunderstorm track on and went to bed, and woke up 30 minutes later freaked out from claustrophobia. Not something I have ever experienced before. I kept trying different sounds and even turned off the NC. But apparently unless my brain can hear “me” it freaks out. Intried three nights in a row same each time. I went back to playing the thunderstorm on my hatch clock at almost the highest volume to block out the noises. I work at hime so i dont need these to block peole out. After them sitting in my night stand for a week without being used I decided to put them on when using the leaf blower. Put them on, walk across the room and suddenly felt like I had vertigo. It went away after sitting downa and taking them off. I started researching online if NC can cause claustrophobia or vertigo to see if it is common or if i was foing insane. Turns out there is a small percentage of people that do have this reaction, so its not just me. Something do with the pressure that can build in the ear canal. One oerson said it felt like their fight or flight would kick in when they couldn’t hear their breathing. So they would meditate with them on until they got used to it. I tried but it didnt help. These were just to expensive to dred wearing. They were the most comfortable headphones ive worn and the NC is amazing. But between my tinnitus getting louder with them on and my brain being dramatic i decided to return them.

I picked up the Bose QuietComfort Ultras after being underwhelmed by a similar Sennheiser model. They do feel more durable than the Sennheisers, but I’ve already had to replace a pair through a warranty claim. I travel a lot for work, and they don’t seem to handle the pressure changes from flying very well. Sound quality is strong, and the noise canceling is solid. That said, after a fair amount of travel, I started noticing the bass crackling a bit, likely tied to how the internal adhesives react to pressure changes. If you’re planning to use these primarily for travel, I’d look at other options. For everyday use around the house, though, they’re perfectly fine.

IMO, these are the best headphones that I have owned and they are more comfortable than the Sony models. The spatial sound is outstanding, but I am not an audiophile expert by any meaning. I have owned many headphones and these are by far my favorite.

I narrowed my choice between bose, sony, and airpod max. I tested the noise cancellation in store and funny enough it was a busy day in the store and there was a really loud alarm going off. The bose headphones performed the best (couldn't try the airport max headphones as there was no display) and from a price point they were cheaper than the airpodmax and I read several website reviews that said sony and bose had better sound quality. I really like the case provided and the ease of use. I mostly have apple products but these still working on it great in spite of not being fully integrated like beats or airpods. Bose also has a great warranty on their products and I've had really good experience even when the product breaks or needs repairs.

We purchased this item for a Christmas gift. Set up was easy and of course as all Bose products it works exceptionally well. The comfort level of this unit is amazing. You can easily forget that you have them on. The staff at Bestbuy was courteous and helpful.

I love the sound of these — even more than the Apple AirPods Max — but the connectivity with Apple devices is a mess. As a Hollywood sound engineer, I’ve owned several Bose headphones and earbuds, and while these aren’t for work, just walks and casual listening, I really wanted them to my choice go-to for casual listening. Unfortunately, Bose still hasn’t figured out reliable Bluetooth performance with iPhones. The sound quality and comfort are top-notch, but the inconsistent connection and half-working controls make them frustrating. I use $3K Sennheisers for studio work, so I know what great audio is — and these get close in sound, but far from Apple’s seamless functionality. I lost a pair of Ultra Earbuds and had similar issues. At this point, I’m probably done with Bose — unless they finally fix their Apple integration. Shame, really. I wish I could put their sound in Apple’s hardware.

      Hello Derek,

I am happy to see that you love the sound of the headphones. I am surprised you're having connectivity trouble and I would ask that you try the steps here https://bose.life/4jHbIeR to help with the connectivity troubles you're having. I'd also recommend disable multi-point connectivity, if you have two devices connected the second may be trying to send notifications or similar to the headphones, this can cause audio to pause which may appear to be a connection drop.

Please do reach out to us though, as we'd love to help with the connecting trouble. You can contact us through the details here https://bose.life/contact on our website.

I loved my Sony XM5, but i have no brand loyalty. Bose has dethroned the mighty XM5 and IMO has tge highest sound wuality and by far the best ANC I have ever experienced. Well worth the price point! These feel more premium, while also maintain the lightweight for long listening sessions. Laslty, the “aware” mode is unexpectedly cery unique in that it feels very natural in the sound it lets through versus others that just over blow the bsckground noise that can be w bit uncomfortable. 10/10 I love these

Love this purchase. Look forward to every opportunity to use them. Has made every waiting experience better. Volleyball practice is a joy, waiting rooms with people listening to their phones on loud volume no longer annoying, and studying easier to lock in. Great item.
