Before buying a new refrigerator, I reviewed all the different brands on consumer reports. Bosch was by far the highest rated. In the past I have never spent top dollar for a refrigerator and I wanted one that would really last this time. So I bought this series 100 French door refrigerator from bosch. I can tell you that I really like the handles or should I say the lack of handles in the way they've designed this refrigerator to be opened. It is very Sleek looking and functional. This refrigerator is extremely quiet! I really noticed it when evening came and I was ready to go to sleep. I could hear my old refrigerator in my bedroom. This one I don't even know is there. It has a lot of great features to it. I won't go into detail on all of them. It is counter depth so it is not as large square footage wise as others but it is sufficient for my needs. I would definitely recommend this refrigerator to anyone that can spend the extra to get something that is excellent and will last.

Exchanged 4 TIMES! Doors always had marks when protective plastic was removed. Icemakers did not work, I was lucky to get 12 cubes per WEEK! One one of the fridges the water dispenser leaked. What a big hassle. So dissapointed in Bosch. And, I sent back not only the fridge but also the oven, microwave and dishwasher. Don't want anything to do with Bosch. Disappointing to say the least.

We love this refrigerator. It looks great and the functionality is perfect. I was also very impressed with the service we received from Best Buy. The delivery guys were excellent and the process went very smoothly.

The Bosch 100 replaces a higher end LG model. The LG had nice features, but its compressor was replaced five times in less than seven years. However, the LG had some better features, such as brighter, interior, lighting, more storage options/bins, and convenient ice/water dispenser. Our hope is the Bosch will be more reliable than the LG. We have a Bosch dishwasher, which has a proven track record in our house. Very quiet. We also have a Bosch cooktop and oven, both gas, which have proven to be trouble free. One annoying aspect of the Bosch refrigerator was the plastic protective film was very difficult to remove completely. It was a a sheet with adhesive that was easy enough to pull off, however, things like the water dispenser and handle inserts, trapped the edges of the film sheet, likely when assembled. What should’ve been an easy pull off became an exercise in meticulous removal in order to not leave scratches or mar the stainless steel finish. So, instead of a quick removal, it took a couple of hours to remove the protective film. But in the end, the film was removed completely using toothpicks, fingernails, and whatever was at hand to remove lingering residue. Lastly, while the bottom freezer drawer has a soft self clothes feature, the Refrigerator French doors must be positively shut, that is it needs to be pushed closed or else it will remain ajar.. other refrigerators. I’ve had had a stronger magnetic pull that eliminated this concern.
