However, the chemical odor is quite overwhelming. I keep hoping it will subside eventually, but not yet, and it’s over a month.

It sometimes doesn't hit my wrist where it should and can become an irritant to me. So it helps to switch back and forth between pads. But that's just me, I have joint pain. Now my husband loves it! Says it's very comfortable to him.
