Normally I would be suggesting the USB, pure version of this headset. However there individual cups turn, and therefore dont eventually hold enough friction to snap. This was my issue with their pure USB headset.

Only complaint is that it still uses the 3.5mm jacks verses a full native usb connection. It does have a supplied adapter though.

My son really like these he used them until they were no longer functioning but he did say that the wires get shorts in them easy

I brought the G430 on black friday for $35 and they are worth every penny. The 7.1 sound is amazing and easy to set up. If you want to use on console, you must buy a 3.5mm Audio Y Splitter Cable.

Bought this to replace my $35, 10 year old USB Roswell 5.1 gaming headset which is held together with duck tape and hot glue due to a "Rage Quit" about 7 years ago... Since i used them in stereo mode 99% time I was looking for a 3.5mm compatible headset so I could use my new motherboard on-board sound (MSI 270 Gaming Plus)... After uninstalling the USB Roswell's... enabling my on-board sound in the bios and installing the latest Realtek drivers.. I plugged the in... OMG I couldn't believe how bad they sounded...So I tried the USB adapter... same result... Still in disbelief that it was the headphones and possibly a driver or software issue... I formatted and reloaded Win10 which made no difference... So I purchased the best China had to offer on Amazon for $25... much, much better than the G430's but still didn't come close to the Roswell's for gaming... Finally bought a Cooler Master Headset (on sale) that gave the the gaming sound, price, comfort and durability I was looking for.

I was told that this would work with a computer, IPod, and all gaming consoles. It did not.

Purchased these as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend who likes to game in his free time. He loves them as they give him a lot of clarity and precise conversation. They were the perfect gift.

got this on sale at $37 dont see it being valued at the original 80. Its a bit uncomfortable around the ears but decent for the price

I bought this item for my son as his was broken. Headset looks like its well built and will last for a while. HOPEFULLY! Great price!!!

Not a bad headset has decent sound but the comfort was a little less then I expected.

I really like these headphones, especially for the price. However, they are uncomfortable after an extended time wearing them.

Usually I am skeptical about buying headsets but, I must say I have absolutely no complaints!! Logitech surprises me once again!! Awesome product guys!!

They were amazing until the mic stopped working. Not sure why but others cant hear me when i speak but i can hear them.

Uncompromising quality for price . The noise canceling effect allows great communication for that multiplayer gamer experience.

When this worked it worked out well. But after 6 months or so it just started to feel flimsy and at times was not working well. We still sometimes use this but for the most part have switched to a more expensive option from Alienware. It might just be that this is not sturdy enough to deal with the brutality kids can put things through.

I have been needing to replace my headset and i bought these and i like songs with also of bass and this headset has insane bass on them i would recommend them to anyone

You can tell the quilaty for the price. It’s a good gaming headset for kids maybe.

This was purchased to replace a set that fell apart. It works well and is a good deal for the money.
