Broken...

I looked for 3rd party software to allow me to turn the volume up!!! The headset was cheaply made... After a few months of heavy (daily) use the headset snapped where the earpiece connects to the headband. And nothing strenuous was done to the headset to cause it breaking, it wasn't dropped or stepped on. I have had many other headsets, including cheap Xbox headsets that come with the consoles (even the 360) and this is the first one to ever break on me! The only plus that it has is the microphone sound quality was not bad for how cheap the headset is...

best non-console gaming headset for the money

Came broken

Since it has such a good review, he put it as his number one Christmas list. He was so very dissapointed when he found out it didn’t work. His whole day on Christmas was researching on line to find out what could have been the problem. We had to return it, I guess it arrived broken.
