Headphones were not the answer. So I bought these Logitech speakers. Very nice sound. But they could still use a bit more boost.

Its not terrible, given the price its pretty good. There is a hum at higher volume, but like I said, its not terrible and for the price point its good. It does feel a bit like cheap plastic. I do want to understand why they need a direct power source, given how a lot of computers are these days, the draw should be able to come from the tower or laptop instead of needing another power source, but it is what it is...

I gave it a 4 because the volume control does not work when using the headphone jack. I like the separate volume control since I have the speakers behind my monitor.
