I can turn it on without having to go behind the speaker, and it has an easily accessible headphone jack. I don't have to use the headphone jack in my PC.

speakers's got a big punch for a little price

The only ones that made me pause was the Bose set without a separate subwoofer. Once I got to this set, for me, it was the perfect combination with that extra "punch" from the subwoofer. Now this is from a guy who loves his hard rock/metal loud into the nose bleed range. It didn't quite get there, but for the price, close enough!
