Not worth the extra money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a professional speaker and the little items that make this pointer cost more than its lesser priced counterpart are features I've never found use for

Good Features, Bad Build Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, this wireless presenter has the features that most people want, but the build quality is questionable. I had to exchange three of these before I finally got one that wasn't damaged. The green laser pointer is a little weak as well.

Doesn't work on TV screens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm screensharing my laptop onto a TV screen. I wanted the laser pointer to point out things on the TV screen. Unfortunately, the laser disappears into the screen, and you can't see it. Apparently, this pointer only works if you are projecting onto a movie screen and pointing onto the movie screen.

Posted .Hello JRutledge,
I am sorry that your new Logitech laser presenter is not what you expected. You are right, lasers do not show on TV screens because the TV light (LED) luminescence is more potent than commercial lasers. I recommend you use the Logitech Spotlight Advanced Wireless Presentation Remote for presenting on TVs. Logitech appreciates your product insight. - Leo from Logitech

I was disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The clicker to advance PowerPoint worked well, but the green laser pointer did not work well with the LCD monitor. If I held it at the perfect angle (perpendicular to screen), I could see the green dot, otherwise, it was invisible or barely visible. The green dot would show up great on the wall, but as soon as it hit the monitor screen it would disappear.

Posted .Hi Pop1, So sorry to hear about the issue you had with the green dot for the Professional Presenter not being able to be seen on the LCD Monitor. The reason for this is rather technical. Television screens contain a polarizing filter. The area between colored pixels is painted black, and this is designed to absorb all incoming light. Laser lights pointed at the screen wouldn’t get reflected, thus giving you the perception of laser light becoming “lost in the screen”. Logitech does have a presenter that will work well with an LCD Monitor and that's the Spotlight (https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/spotlight-presentation-remote?crid=11). Hope that you found this helpful and that all is well. - Richard from Logitech
