Because there is no wire, there is no frustrating interruption when the wire breaks. Moreover, I can put the mouse where I want on either side of the computer and not have a tangle in the way. Basic Mouse Works Like A Charm

It still worked but the glider pads on the bottom were worn out. What can I say? The M310 performs the basics - left and right click and scroll - beautifully. And it comfortably fits my hand. I have a fancier mouse at work with lots of shortcut buttons that I don't use. Logitech's wireless feature is easy to setup and works seamlessly with my Dell laptop. The M310's relatively compact size travels well, too.
