We buy all of our computers and electronics at Best Buy just for the Geek Squad protection. I highly recommend it. I work from home & primarily use a laptop. I can't count the number of times over the years that this warranty has saved me. + I have never had any kind of problem w/ having my damaged computer replaced or fixed with this warranty.

I bought this laptop for my mom for christmas and she has been using it like crazy for her zoom meetings and uploading documents. It works very fast and she loves that it can fold into a tablet!

The Greek Squad is ready to help and very friendly. They will do their best to make the customer happy and will replace the item if that is your request. On items like computers, laptops, and gaming headphones (especially when buying as a gift), the protection gives you piece of mind. Well worth the investment!

Cant tell you enough how much you will need geek squad. Your kids will find a way to freeze your screen. Get the keys stuck.lets not forget a virus. Geek squad knows a solution for every laptop problem. I've had to use them on more than several occasions and solved the problem all the time.

I purchased this 1-Year Accidental Geek Squad Protection for the chrome book that I purchased for my daughter during this COVID-19 Pandemic and the kids at home doing Virtual learning. And I am so glad that I did. It gives me a each of mind just incase anything goes wrong with the chromebook.

Comes in very handy. Definitely get it, unforeseen circumstances require expert advice.

Geek squad came to my house, delivered, mounted and hooked up the surround sound & cable & dvd player. After using it for a few days, we realized that the tv needed to be moved about 6 inches to the right. Geek Squad came out and did all the adjustments for us for free! Buy the service, you will be glad you did.

I haven't needed the Geek squad yet but I know from past experience that they know what they are doing and do it well and fast. I had an issue with a hard drive in the past. I thought my data was lost forever but they didn't give up and I got back my precious pictures. I'm so grateful.

Good to know I have this extended warranty. I couldn't get the extended warranty offered by Asus on the laptop I bought from Bestbuy. Asus excludes laptops sold by Bestbuy from it's extended warranty program; which can be the same length and approximately $200 less.

Protection plans as usually a good thing to get in addition to manufacturing warranties. Always check what coverage you have included.

Have had too many mishaps with laptops and hope this one isn't as use service as most. Geek squad has always been a good source for my husbands iphone.

Always get the Geek Squad but use it!! Read up on it and know how it works because they will try and ignore their own rules. A must have for expensive purchases.

I can't really speak to the actual fulfillment of the service, however I can say that the peace of mind that comes from having a protection plan (on something that I could not afford to buy a replacement for) is absolutely worth it's cost if the item is important. There's my rant.

It came with my Total Tech membership, how can I go wrong? Most things still work many years after 2, but if they don't BB makes it easy to swap out for a new one. :D Get a Total Tech membership and see what I mean.

The 3 year protection plan was just what I was looking for. I wanted the ease of mind and worry-free plan to go with my laptop.

my hard drive crashed on my laptop that I purchased from a different retailer. They were very helpful on getting me the information and helped pull all of my files and pictures off of it. So I was grateful that they were able to do that. It was more than I expected over $100, but over all worth it. Lesson learned- make sure you back up with external hard drive.

I signed up for the protection plan ($179) but shouldn’t have. When my covered laptop broke, I turned it into geek squad for repairs only for them to charge me an additional $49 to tell me they couldn’t fix it! They did give me a giftcard for the value of the laptop but between the planner and repair fee that cost me almost the same amount, so it was pretty much a wash. I am very disappointed and feel lied to about what the protection plan covers.
