It’s a smart choice for those who aren’t really careful with their tech.

I like geek squad protection. electronics are expensive and this is peace of mind. Plus I think all the techs I have encountered are very knowledgable. I like I can ask questions and they treat me with respect. I have asked for advice on my purchases and they have helped me. They came to y home at no charge and fixed my smart TV. The cost of the extended warranty threw geek squad is well worth the money.

When my son's laptop started to make a noise, I took it to the Geek Squad and explained that I had purchased the protection. I was informed that the protection could not be applied, until a diagnostic was done, which a separate charge of $100.

I have used geeksquads insurance on a few of my gaming laptops and more expensive purchases over the years. Some of those had defects or were damaged due to mistakes. Best Buy has ALWAYS either fixed the issue to my satisfaction or replaced the item with a new item. In the few rare cases when the item couldn't be replaced they gave me a gift card worth the original purchase price of my product so that I could buy a replacement of similar quality. All in all I have been very happy with their insurance.

Great protection for my Yoga. Since i carry it back ad forth to school everyday and use it whole moving around my room teaching, it is worth every penny.

I never buy anything expensive without purchasing the warranty. I have used them in the past and Best Buy makes it easy to repair or repkace items quickly.

I think overall, for the price of protection, considering what people pay for electronics nowadays, it's a good insurance to have.

I decided to spend a little more this time and I am glad I did! You can tell this laptop is just made better, my last few were more flimsey and just more creekey with noises when opening and closing the lid, etc. This one is solid and feels well made. I also love the specs! I can play any of my games at best settings and it handles with ease!
