This is a total waste of money, Spent 339 for three years of service and they want me to spend an additional 199 or even 39.99??!! My laptop. Acer - Nitro 5 - 15.6" FHD 144Hz IPS Gaming Laptop - Intel 11th Gen i7 - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti - 16GB DDR4 - 512GB SSD as purchased last march, today its having a hard time just trying to turn on, I've Done multiple scans no viruses. when do get it to turn on I reached out to Geek squad for support, and they wanted me to either spend another 199.99 for TOTAL SUPPORT or 39.00 for this one issue even though to me this is a hardware issue. which the listing even says. "If there's a failure from normal wear and tear, we'll repair it. This could be a problem with an internal part or speaker, or how the product was manufactured. It could also be caused by dust, internal heat or humidity. If your battery won't hold a charge, we'll replace it. Get a one-time replacement for your original rechargeable battery if it fails to hold a charge. If your hard drive stops working, we'll repair it. We'll cover the cost of repair if your hard drive fails through normal use. Does not include Data Recovery." did geek squad try to assist no they just went right out to software issue and GIVE US MORE MONEY. -15 out of 10 would not recommend.

Very easy to use for work and for school purposes.

I told my laptop in and they downloaded all software needed.

Have not had to make use of this yet but glad it’s an option.

We got this service for our device and are pleased with the service

Was recommended because of the additional components - detachable tablet and stylus.

Only time will tell. Havent needed them yet. Hopefully good.

the phone number you can't get anyone on phone and when i do they refuse to do unless i take computor back to best buy ..over 2 weeks for an appointment

Cannot write a review because this is part of a Christmas gift. It is valuable though. I have used geek squad in the past and service was excellent

Does not cover accessories like if charger stops working

I have not had any viruses so I assume it works fine.

We used our geek squad protection for a dropped laptop. They were unable to fix it so they gave us the full purchase price of the laptop, per the warranty agreement. However, they had the laptop for over 4 weeks before determining they couldn't fix it.

I'm a student and it's great to have quick service when i need it

Haven't used it yet , but I know the 2 year plan was more than double the 1 year price.

This is a new computer so we have not had to use it yet.

I have used the services and they are AWESOME folks!
