I did not need to use Geek Squad during the first year of having my computer. It is nice knowing if you need help you have someone to reach out to to help you though for free.

I have never had to use this, but I am confident that if I did I would be able to use it! It is worth it for the risk of an accident!

Nice to know I don’t have to dress and spend too much time trying to figure something out, I can just call the geek squad. Also was nice to know if there was an accident I could get help.

Since the computer is for the kids, it's important to have it fully protected.

Added this to boyfriend's laptop. Didn't want to spend the money but was SO WORTH IT!!! Our son accidentally slipped my drink and it spilled all over the laptop while I was using it

Whenever I need help with anything electronic, GeekSquad is helpful. Large and small appliances are also no problem for GeekSquad.?

Protects in case of accidents and damage, great if you use product on the go often

Nothing major has happened yet but if it happens I know who to call and see if they live up to their promise. Otherwise it's peace of mind that should go beyond your typical warranty.

So far haven't had to use this service but great to know I have it available to me. But TBH I hope I never have to use this service, it means everything is going well so yaigh.

I make sure that I get coverage for everything that I buy at Best Buy if there is one available and I recommend that to my friends and family

Read the fine print. If they decide, at their discretion, to replace the covered item, rather than repair it, they will issue you a store credit for the amount of the original purchase. However, the fine print states that in that case, their obligations for the extended waranty ar3 fully satisfied. Meaning, while you will get a store credit to buy a new device, your new device will not have the extended waranty. If you want that, you will need to pay for it again again. Basically in my case, i prepaid $309 to allow me to return my defective machine after the return period expired. I have a new machine, but i have no extended waranty, and less storage due to pricing and feature differences for in stock items. The terms stated in the simplified description are misleading and i do not recommend this service.

As always I won’t Purchase an item without the warranty service! Never fails. The team replaced my laptop after finding that it count be repaired.

They were professional and attentive. They followed up with me and answered all my questions.

It was easy to take in the computer I dropped for repair. Getting the accidental insurance was worth it.
