    I always get protection plans for anything i buy from Best Buy. I love that you can use the protection plan with out them giving you any excuses.

    I haven't had to use my accidental protection yet. However in the past any claims have been handled in a timely manner and I was happy.

    I purchased the 3-year warranty on a laptop. The display started doing some odd things. Since it didn’t do it for them they said they weren’t sure what it was. Apparently if I had paid for their membership they would have run diagnostics for free. If there turns out to be an issue with the display or the graphics card, they do not fix it in house. They would have to ship it off and it could take weeks to get back. I should have purchased the manufacturers extended warranty instead.
