    Partial service each time I needed a repair

    I sent my device in twice to get repaired but both times they only did a partial job of fixing my computer. The first time I needed my computer back since I didn’t have time to send it back in again after waiting 6 weeks to get it back since I needed it for my work and studies but the problem was that after having the keyboard replaced the D key on the new keyboard popped out within less than a month but I was not going to send it back to get repaired for that long with the other issue since I urgently needed my computer in whatever shape or form it was in. The second time I sent it in to fix the keyboard issue along with the previous issue but when I received it back after 2 weeks they fixed only the keyboard issue even though I specifically mentioned that they forgot to do it the time before. I asked them to send it back in due to a partial repair despite needing my computer since I’d rather not have to come back a third time for the same issue they missed twice and have currently waited 20 days since the last update on the current status of my computer. Hopefully they’ll either successfully repair the issue or find some other way to resolve this ongoing incident.

    I find this service to be a life saver everytime I get in a jam. Mostly use the online service to solve my problems. I have not found them unable to help me. The only problem is when I try to use the store now that we have Covid-19 issues. No it is not cheap but it keeps me from running to some store and leaving the computer to be picked up later. So I am keeping it in place unless I reduce myself to one new computer under warrenty and if I buy it at Best Buy at Christmas I get free Geek Squad service, or that is what it was two years ago.

    Wouldn’t Purchase an Expensive Electronic Item W/O

    Thankfully this extra warranty was/is available for Chromebooks & laptops for children who are doing their schoolwork from home occasionally & won’t have to bring a school Chromebook home (too small, responsible for replacing if broken, etc). Accidental damage protection is a must for anything I order due to multiple children fighting over everything & ADHD senses ending up breaking too many things. Luckily this covers accidental damage & spills!

    Recently made a purchase online and had a issue with item received whet into store and spoke to accosiate and manager and they was able to correct and fix issue and was good about making sure i was satisfied with outcome

    The agent went to my house and check my house tv that was broken good thing a purchase the 5 year warranty and because it’s been discontinued already and they don’t have parts for it they gave me a store credit same amount that I purchased the tv and got me a big one instead thank you geek squad

    I got this protection from geek squad because well life happens. So far we haven't used it but for the cost for the peace of mind if something would happen to are products it a great value.

    I've always purchased the Geek Squad Protection Plan for any and all of my products in which I buy from Best Buy. In the long run you will save money if your product has to be replaced if you spill something on it or accidentally, drop your purchased items and break it. You can have your merchandise replaced without paying anything. My 3-Year Protection Plan has definitely saved me money in the long run. Think twice before, walking out the store without FIRST purchasing your 3-Year Protection Plan. Take it from me its worth having.
