    Internet was not done in the store, I've tried on 4 occurances to remote into Geek Squad, unable to get an agent, always receive a message long wait time.

    I was upsold the coverage. Now 1.5 years later need to use it, of course, it is the biggest hassle and I keep getting a laptop "repaired" but it comes home and is still broken but worse. No offer to replace the broken laptop and it seems they are just trying to outwait the protection plan. Wish I had saved the money to put towards a new laptop.

    Was a waste of money for me. I never had to use it. With that being said, I must admit, that the Geek square is exceptional. I have been a best buy customer for many years and I love their work and dedication.

    Disappointed with battery replacement

    Battery replacement requires the computer to be shipped away for 2-4 weeks in order to be diagnosed and replaced. Customers need to understand this since most people (especially a college student) cannot be without a computer for up to a month.

    Warranty cost 1/3 of the price of the item. Upon bringing it in for warranty repair, they did not even look at the item, and are sending it in to the manufacturer, and quoted a 4-6 week turnaround. This is nearly useless, kid won't have her Chromebook back until the school year is over. Also note that most of the reviews are from people who didn't have to use the warranty, because free points.

    Pandemic prevents Geek Squad reviews in store. Need better options to correct and fix- particularly when devices are within 90 days of purchase. Have spent 25+ hours on phone to resolve.

    I was told this plan comes with the anti-virus protection. I asked several times to be sure since this is very important. After using the online chat for almost an hour, was told that the plan I was sold does not include the anti virus software. I tried calling several times, unable to reach anyone to get a refund. When being sold this product I was also told I would receive 24/7 support... so how do I get a refund please???

    Not thrilled with bestbuy extended warranties. paid $2200 for a laptop last year, after one year the hinge got a slight crack. paid $500 for a 3 year warranty thinking it would protect my purchase. Since the same item was no longer available i got a refund of the $2200 but it was not near enough to replace the laptop that broke. So i ended up spending another 500 plus had to get a new warranty. i suggest going with the total tech.

    If i could give this a zero i most certainly would!!!!!! I bought this plan as during my 60 years these plans have been invaluable. Not today! After 16 days in for repair I called to check the status. No matter how many times I asked Angie (whose English was poor at best) she kept wanting to schedule a time for me to drop off my computer! When I asked to speak to her supervisor after 10 minutes of additional hold time I was hung up on! Thank you Angie

    Requested a refund because of poor customer service. I phone the following day to assure the process was complete and they had not completed the process which meant I received less of the prorated amount. I thought that was the end of the frustration. I was wrong in my assumption. The check was was to arrived in a week and when it didn’t arrive, I called and found out that they had canceled the check.

    Ordered a dishwasher and 2 days later I was notified that I need to reschedule delivery with the earliest available date a week later than my original date. I called in and was told there was nothing that could be done. When I asked for a supervisor, they hung up on me without a word spoken. Second time in a row this has happened. Do NOT depend on Geek Squad!!!! If you really need it and want a dependable install date, go somewhere else.

    I cannot have Geek squad help since Hurricane IDA. I have a small tax office at home in Thibodaux Louisiana. About 20 minutes away is your only Best Buy location and it is obviously not going to be up anytime soon in Houma, LA. I cannot drive to a farther store. I need to stop my Geek Squad Protection at all since I have no help. I will be happy to start again if I can get to your Houma, LA store.

    It’s unfortunate that I forgot to extend my protection and shortly after my crawling baby, crawled on it and pushed the screen down and broke it, not worth the price and frustration!

    I turned in my laptop for repairs weeks ago, and I still don't have it back yet! Way to slow on the turnaround time, and I still haven't heard about when it'll be returned to me!

    I got the geek squad protection plan for this laptop and took it 5 times to store the same times that the problem didn't got fixed, now I run out of warranty and stayed with an unusable laptop as it doesn't catch the internet for more than 2 minutes

    Puchased a Geek Squad 3 year waranty on a Samsung laptop in March 2023. Touchscreen failed in December. So it should be covered on both manufacturer and ageek squad warranty. Totay they ar3 telling me is $431 to get it fixed. Inclined to think Iwill notbe buying either another Samsung or extended warranty soon

    I THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA UNTIL I PURCHASE A DEFECTIVE LAPTOP AND I WASN'T SLLOWED TO TRANSFER THIS PROTECTION PLAN OVER TO THE NEXT LAPTOP. HAD TO PAY FOR ANOTHER PROTECTION. WASTE OF MONEY.
