The program it self seems good but I have not yet used it

I havent needed to use it or geek swuad but it does make me feel better knowing its there if i need it.

I had a cracked screen and tool it to Bergen Town Center, well within my the duration of my insurance, they refused to fix it. First they said I needed to make an $80 deposit for it to be shipped out to the manufacturer and then I might have to pay extra depending on how much it costs to fix. After I reminded them I had an insurance, they switched up and said they could not find an insurance covering my device. I then pulled up a receipt and then they said it appears my insurance had been cancelled a few months ago. Avoid this service as much as you can. I learned my lesson the hard way. They cannot be trusted. Especially the ones from Bergen town Center

Geek squad i called for some assistance in why the laptop would not let download certain things the geek representative ended getting frustrated with me and hung up because I asked to speak with a supervisor. I had to call back and described my issue all over to a new geek representative and finally got the help i needed. Some of the geek squad can be very rude. 50/50 for recommendations to use geek just depends who you get on the line

Get the extra protection. It is worth every penny.

Like any insurance I feel I could do better things with the money but after my last laptop got drenched in milk, (kids), I feel slightly more at ease knowing my new laptop is covered.

Can't really fairly comment as I haven't had to use it and actually we were refunded our money due to not thinking it was worth the amount. If you really need the support or damage your stuff, it could be valuable.
