    Can't download the antivirus or get any support!

    My BestBuy profile shows that I have a support plan and that Secure Anywhere is included, but the antivirus does not show in my library when I try to download. I cannot get any help by phone or chat to resolve this problem.

    Not that great of a protection warranty

    This is the second time that I purchased this warranty only because I didn't feel safe not having a warranty at all. The first time I spilled some water on my laptop, geek squad fixed it free of charge. It came back with other problems though that weren't there before and I kept having to send it back and forth for almost 2 months! I finally got an employee to talk to a manager to just let me get a new laptop and I still didn't even get a full reimbursement and had to pay $200 for it.

      Hi LivinLIfe42 – Having a computer break back down after a repair is always frustrating. I apologize that the process of swapping a computer out under a Geek Squad Protection plan wasn’t explained to you. If a computer is not repairable, it will be swapped out for a computer of comparable specifications. Sometimes, because of the progress of technology, that will lead you to getting less money back than you originally paid for the computer. The computer you get with that refund should be comparable to the original. If you feel that it was not, I encourage you to visit your local store and speak with a manager again.

    Not getting what I paid for!

    When I made my purchase, it showed delivery to be 5/20/24. It is now 7:25 PM on 5/21/24 and I still do not have my laptop, yet, my geek squad service was activated a day ago. This shorts my plan for one day. While it may not be a big deal, 1) I'm not getting what I paid for 2) if I have an issue the day after my plan expires it seems I shouldn't be penalized since I have yet to receive my laptop. (Can be confirmed with tracking through UPS)

    Never ever sign up for Geek squad. Took a "protected" computer to be serviced due to a power surge which was clearly covered. Waited a day to have a service apt, which didn't fix the problem. the next day returned for another fix on the same computer and were charged close to 100$ for repairs. the fee was charged due to being too beat down after 5 hours waiting to fight at the time. The next day a call was made to request a refund and the tech over the phone transfered me over and over and started making discusting noises on the line while on hold. I'm now asking for a full refund on the geek squad....horrible service!!!!!!

    The warranty is too expensive. I purchased for a HP Laptop and decided to cacel it when I realized that HP had the same plan for a lot cheaper. I waited on the phone for roughly 40mins beforebI could even talk to someone to cancel it. I can only imagine how long I'd have to wait if I needed service. Notbworth the money, at all. However the rep was very nice and easy to work with.

    Exchange computer and damage warranty

    The Geek Squad referred me to the wrong place for an exchange or refund on my computer. Only had it 3 days it was damanged. Purchased the damage protection coverage. I had to purchase another computer because I really needed it for work. The original computer no one will accept it or exchange it and why couldn't I get a refund if I had a warranty and had to purchase another 1 because the store wouldn't exchange it
