This was on our bill & we didnt even know we were purchasing until we arrived home

I keep getting the runaround and transferred from one person to the next. I am told that the 3 year accidental geek squad protection plan does not cover accidental damage. What a crock. $300. Accidental plan that does not cover accidental damage???????

Accident protection should not be expensive. Should be more economical

The Geek Squad person was a great up to install my new computer and walk me through new apps.

Biggest waste of money and Buyer beware. Purchased coverage for a chromebook. The chromebook fell off a desk and broke the hinge. The display works. Now they are asking me to pay additional $ 395.17 to replace the lcd display. The display worked fine when I turned it over to them. I have been on the phone well over 1.5 hours. The warranty only covers to a specific amount. I purchased the 2-Year Accidental Geek Squad Protection. They do not honor their own statement " If you accidentally damage your product while handling it, we'll take care of it. Enjoy peace of mind knowing that you're covered if the unexpected happens."

Easy to install Works good recommend to anyone needing bigger screen

Make sure that if you plan on getting coverage you get the one that covers EVERYTHING.

In home service option is great but I got 3yrs of accidental coverage total protection from HP for less than the one year with Geek Squad. I sincerely feel Best Buy loses major points on their value pricing when u add in warranty cost. Often times their warranty cost place the total price 15% above competitors

Item is alright. I wouldn't not suggest it or wouldn't stiffest it.

It definitely gives you a sense of security although it's really not necessary if you can reasonably take care of your hardware.

I guess it was work buying, it was purchased for my Grandson. Do not know if he ever used.

Seems to not know how to help over the phone. But in person interaction seems better.

I hope they are able to help when needed. The plan is costly. I have no used them yet.

Product is awful. It has been returned three time (counting this one). Repair lasted less than 2 weeks. It takes 2 weeks to get an appointment with the geek squad and another 8 weeks or more out for repair. I am demanding a replacement this time as the product has been broken and out for repair 90% of the time since we purchased it. It is a lemon. An the protection service leaves much to be desired.

It covers 1 replacement from Accidental Handling. That's the only reason I got it because the manufacturer doesn't do this.

Haven't had to use this protection yet. Hopefully it will be worth the money paid.

Had the worst experience with geek squad never again

Long waits for service but worth it if your device has a catastrophic failure.

Got the 3 year plan since that is generally the lifetime of a computer.
