I communicated clearly I wanted, and was deceived

Very slow

horrible phone customer service

Could not get an answer! even the clerk at the best buystore for geek squad could not help me get an answer. Waste of time and waste of money- horrible customer service.

Older product=questionable results

Upon taking it in for repair, was told the parts may not even be available. When I asked to exchange the laptop for a new one, was told it needed to be sent out first to prove that parts were unavailable. Turnaround time may be up to two months! Now my child is without a device for virtual learning.

Waste of $ for a Chrome book

Just don't do it

It took about 2 months to get them to finally replace my laptop. I had asked for one 2/3 the price of the one they finally gave me.

Are they real Nerds?

Last time they said my macbook digital board was broken and will cost me $1,125 for the fix and guess what? I didn't go thru with the fix and went home and two days later my computer turn on and is still working fine.

Poor don't cover accidents

I told by greek squad tech over the phone that wasn't covered by the accidental protection. I would have to pay to have screen switched and they only offered 3 month warranty. It was cheaper to buy a new computer

Slow repair service

Tracking 9-25-17, part in stock, unit in queue to be assigned to agent. Today 10-5-17, no update posted since. Called Geek no., they say more parts ordered, but no other update. No loaner, no replacement, Great support for freshman first semester. I'll try to add when this ends.

Ripoff!

It lasts for 3 yrs, but is only a single-use warranty, if you use it, then u have to buy another one to cover the replaced item! It states that in the fine print, they don't tell you that at time of purchase!! Dont waste your $!!

Geek Squad protection is not worth.

Every time I looked into my order status, it will state they were "working on it" which lasted over three weeks. I tried to call to find out about the status, since I am taking classes and really needed my laptop back. I even visited the store where I turned in my laptop and they did not know about it. I had to wait very long time to get it back, and if I knew it before I would not have purchased this insurance, its not worth it.
