    I would never buy a laptop, camera, etc... without the geek squad for at least 2 yrs preferably 3, bcuz cost out of pocket to replace is a joke in this market.

    I do not buy a laptop or iPad without also getting the Geek Squad protection. My iPad stopped charging after 8 months and Best Buy ended up just sending me a new one.

    Bought a laptop for my son and purchased the 1-Year protection plan as my son has a history of accidently damaging his technology. I haven't hade a need to use this yet but I'm glad the option is available.
