    This guarantee was purchased with the lap top, it left me more relaxed, as it seemed very fragile. I didn't have to use it. I thought the price was high.

    I would doubt if I was paying attention to the sales person's pitch for this service. I suspect that I made the mistake of not hearing details well. I thought I would pay a one-time fee, and in hindsight, it is a monthly fee. I had a good experience with this service plan a few years ago, so I suspect that I agreed to buy it while not paying attention. A worthy warranty plan for some items, be sure you understand the total fees.
