    ive had this laptop for 2 years now and i have been very happy with it , it still runs like new and is very user friendly i am very happy to share with you on what a great computer it is and would def buy again

    I love chrome books this is my third one. I’ve been using chrome books for over 20 yrs. The as not yet failed me just right for me on the go and at home.

    my hard drive crashed on my laptop that I purchased from a different retailer. They were very helpful on getting me the information and helped pull all of my files and pictures off of it. So I was grateful that they were able to do that. It was more than I expected over $100, but over all worth it. Lesson learned- make sure you back up with external hard drive.

    This is a must for anything you carry around with you, if something happens to it besides it getting lost you bring it in to the geek squad and they take care of everything, I havn't had to use their services in a bit but its nice to know that they are there if anything happens to my laptop

    Lots of waiting to use it when you need it

    Worth it for major repairs but if you need something minor that would be covered it's a bit inconvenient. You have to schedule appointments weeks out to even see them for something minor then they need to hold onto your device because there's no way to pre-coordinate the parts you need with the experts before you see them. The extended waits to schedule, then for them to order parts you could of figured out at the start together makes it easier for their employees but at the expensive of the customer. Example: Laptop I purchased needed a new W key and I wanted to make sure the store had the part when I showed up because I can put the thing on myself and it would of been covered by this plan but I ended up just ordering one myself online because it was two weeks to before I could see someone at a store and they refused to talk to me about parts or the issue prior to that meeting. Then at the store I would of had to wait for them to order the specific part after waiting two weeks to see them.

    What can I say other than, “The Geek Squad is simply AWESOME!!!” They are Kind, Respectful (Great customer service…which is VERY Important!!!), Knowledgeable, and VERY Patient with my many questions!!! I Trust them!!!

    A Defining Moment For All, Including Best Buy, The Seller, The Customer/Buyer, And Third Parties Entities/Mfgs. The Protection Plan Coverage, Put All The Eggs Into One Basket. The Most Protective Coverage Is Essential For a Happy Customer to Have a Happy Here After Buyer's Life.

    Why does the warranty start on day 1 instead of the day the manufacturer warranty expires? Doesn't make sense. For this chromebook it has a one year warranty, so Geek Squad warranty should start on day 366. That'd be common sense. Based on previous experience with this protection on a different Lenovo Chromebook, I hope this one protects me better than that time. When I bought it previously, the BB employee told me that if I have any issues with it that they'd very likely just replace it when I brought it in (said that manufacturer won't do that but we will). Yeah they don't, they sent it in and it took a while to come back. That's fine but it didn't last long before it broke again and by then the warranty was up. The issue was a bad keyboard sticking on top row. I treat my technology very well, not around kids, so I think it just wasn't fixed well the first time or had inferior parts. I bought it again for this Chromebook because I needed some coverage in case something happened sooner than later but time will tell.

    I'm glad I picked a great protection plan, you never know what would happen. Best Buy workers are great explaining the protection plans and is affordable.

    Geek Squad Protection is the best. If you have a damaged product they either send it for repair or they let you exchange the product. Definitely a great investment in case something is damaged. Only thing I say is that you have to buy another protection plan if you go to geek squad once.

    I have had to have my computer in to remove viruses. They were able remove them within a few days at the local store, without having to send it to the manufacturer. Enjoy having that safety net in case I run into a major issue during my busy times of the year.

    Beware the apparent 'fine print.'

    The BestBuy protection plan isn't what it used to be. I had a computer a long time ago that my kids broke beyond repair and I went to the store and they fulfilled the plan on the spot. This time, my computer was obviously broken beyond repair but I was told it had to be sent to the service center regardless and at my cost of $85. I don't know when this changed but that's ridiculous. It would be 3 weeks before I heard anything back. I had to buy another computer on the spot because I couldn't be without one for that long. In the end they junked the computer, but the experience was not at all pleasant.
