Hard to determine when I haven't used it, yet. Hope it's good.

Terrible customer service does whatever even when I say no parts are missing asked for investigation throughly but they always just ignore

I usually have problems with this feel squad telling me they have to send my stuff off then it comes back more broken in some areas than others.

First issue rose when the fan was making a metal on metal grating sound. Brought it in to Best Buy and they kept it for a week and adjusted the fan. Problem solved. Second issue arose within 9 months when the CPU and GPU started spiking. Computer would become unresponsive. On other occasions, the computer would not connect with the monitor. Brought it to Best Buy on original warranty for repair, since computers are so hard to find these days, and was issued store credit. Now, I have no computer and will have big problems trying to find a comparable one. And, I'm stuck with Best Buy credit, so I'm limited to shopping there. One more thing! I purchased the 3 year warranty, but Best Buy claims there is a different service where they could have looked at my computer "in-house," thereby making repairs quicker. Why did my 3 year warranty, which was very expensive, not include this service? Best Buy, you are selling competing, or at least confusing, services.

Quite worthless product. Potential buyers MUST read the fine print and skip this purchase.

Sometimee they charge randomly for nothing but they do give and fix devices and their service is decent.

Purchased on 11/5 for my sons birthday, but still not delivered, I need to cancel it now

They were okay I guess in trying to figure out the problem. Not as friendly as I had expected.

Bought it for my expensive device to have it just incase something happens to my purchase

I guess it's good to have it but have never used it and wonder if it even is usable during this quarantine.

I don't think the Geek Squad employees are happy with their jobs. I have no plans on ever trying to use their services again. I understand people having bad days, but when an employee tries to treat me like I don't know what is good for my devices there is an issue.

Paid a lot of money for this and not using it due to the quarantine so I think the money was wasted.

After 4 months of owning my lenovo laptop, the motherboard burned up. I took it to the geeks, they sent it for repair, came back in 2 weeks, and 20 minutes later, the motherboard burned up again. Sent it for repair again and told them "Don't just change the motherboard, something is wrong with the cooling unit". They burned 5 more motherboards. I asked them to call me at least 10 times, they never did. At the end a customer service rep told me it was my fault because the first year the warranty is covered by the manufacturer, not best buy. I told her that this was the first time I heard that, she just simply ignored me. I had to dispute the charge in my credit card and submit a BBB complain to get somebody from Best Buy to call me. The only thing I got is that they did a partial refund of the purchase. I will NEVER buy ANYTHING related to the geek squad again.

I have not needed to use this service yet. So I can not evaluate fully, but am glad for the insurance.

There is no diagnostic tech support with this program, be sure to read details of what you are buying. No tech support or protection on this program for hardware or software issues..... You still have to go back to store with all equipment to get warranty item support
