My wife breaks a lot of phones. We opt to buy this insurance over Verizons for 2 main reasons. 1. Its cheaper 2. Ease of making a claim. I can just go into the store. Trust me we have used this insurance a lot and if you are one to break your phone its totally worth it. I also suggeat paying for the 2 years up front instead of monthly payments if youncan afford it. You gwt a diacount that way

Buying a big ticket item like a phone that folds in half breaks within 2 weeks (apparently when you touch a touch-screen too much and it breaks, its considered physical damage and is not covered under warranty) , co$t$ too much, and isn't ready for real world use? You need this! You need it for 3 folding phones that have ALL failed! Best investment ever!

I always buy the Geek Squad protection even though I've never used it. The phones are like small computers and anything can go wrong. My only complaint is that you can't continue coverage past two years. Any time I've ever had a problem it was about 6 months after coverage expired. It's usually not worth repairing since I'm not covered anymore, so I have to buy a new phone.

I prefer to purchase my cell phones from best buy and I always purchases their protection plan. As I find it easier to deal with best buy then with a cell phone company or another department store. Plus with my children away to college. It was beneficial for us in the past from broken screens to other issues. So why switch when you have had such great experiences and such good service.

I have had Geek Squad for all my devices. I had insurance on my cell through Verizon, never again. Terrible Service with unfriendly help. Geed Squad has never been Unsociable and has always been friendly, quick in repair and are local. The cost is comparable to other insurance and easy with my Best Buy Credit card.

I added a Geek Squad plan to the purchase of my Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphone. I am not expecting problems - knock on wood - but new, paradigm shifting technologies can have unforeseen issues. Geek Squad plans are not new for me and I rarely have to use them. But it feels good to be safe.

I am so pleased to have the Geek Squad Accidential Protection plan offered when I bought my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra phone. Phones are getting so expensive, makes sense to me to add this at the time of purchase. With the BB credit card, I can elect to pay monthly. I used to buy phones from my carrier, but find the techs at BB the greatest.

This is an awesome warranty. It covers everything except if the phone is lost/stolen. (you can buy a policy covering lost/theft) Even if it's my fault it broke, I'm still covered! I'm happy:) my new Note20 is safe & protected with this purchase.

This coverage costs less than the insurance offered by the carrier, covers more, and is much easier to file a claim. Geek Squad is the reason I buy my cellphones from Best Buy

The agent download and backup all my data from my old computer. Gave a great demo of the laptop, before I made the purchase. Was on point letting me know when my compuowas complete I wasn't happy with the large increase fee for the service, it doubled from last year. Wow!

The geek squad protection is the absolute best to buy with any product. They were awesome and so knowledgeable. They handled my damaged screen and made sure phone was perfect before returning it to me. Can't say enough good things about this group of tech wizards!!!

With the original program, any item was available under purchase at bestbuy for service. Since 2021, the program has a max of 2 year coverage. Other stores you can get a 5year warranty on appliances.

I haven't had to use the service yet, but I wished I would have gotten it on my HP Laptop, cause it is messing up after a month of having it and I can't return it and Geek Squad told me I would have to contact HP because it more than likely needed something inside re-installed... not happy

this is the second time i get this product with a cell phone and it has worked fantastic in the past and helps me feel secure that if something happens to my cell phone the Geek squad will be there to provide assistance

If your going to spend $1000+ on a device, it's probably a smart idea to protect it. A few decent options on the plans from paying for the full coverage all at once to setting it up as a monthly charge. It's not a bad deal. So far so good havnt needed to replace my phone yet, when/if I do I'll update my review with how well that went.

Any geek squad protection is well worth the price. I never buy anything from Best Buy without it. It is literally saved me thousands and thousands of dollars when major appliances of broken and the last 10 years. Geek squad simply replaces them. What could be better than that!

I just need my monthly bills at one time vs 3 different days as it throws my bills off. Just the other day the protection plan for my apple phone was charged to my account for $12.99. Well it was $42.99 for a $12.99 overdraft charge of $30 added to it. It's ridiculous I'm paying $42.99 for one month of protection.

Best Buys Protection Plans are absolutely awesome. The turn around time is a bit slow but so much better than buying a new product. I will always buy a plan with any product that it is offered on and I highly recommend that everyone else does too!!

They were able to help me out after i broke my screen a month after i got a new phone. I was in and out within 2 hours with a new phone and only paid for another screen protector
